Celebrities far and wide are reeling over the sudden loss of Nipsey Hussle.
As we reported, the Victory Lap rapper was shot and killed outside of his store, The Marathon Clothing, in South Los Angeles on Sunday a little after 3 p.m. local time. According to the LAPD, three victims were transported to the hospital, where one (Hussle) was later pronounced dead.
In a tweet later Sunday evening, the LAPD said they are searching for a suspect, who they described as a black male, adding that the South Bureau Homicide is “conducting an investigation to locate him and anyone else involved.”

Many were left stunned after news of the 33-year-old’s death broke. Plenty of fellow celebrities in the music industry — including Rihanna, Drake, DJ Khaled, and Tyga — immediately took to social media to mourn their fallen friend.
Posting an up-close photo of the Grammy nominee rapping into a microphone, the God’s Plan rapper wrote:
“F**k. My whole energy is just at a low right now hearing this. We just linked for the first time in years and said we were gonna do a new song this summer cause it had been too long. You were having the best run and I was so happy watching from distance.”

RiRi, meanwhile, shared similar words about Hussle in a heartbroken Instagram post. Posting a photo of the rapper with his daughter Emani Asghedom, along with a pic of Hussle and his girlfriend Lauren London from a GQ photo shoot, the Fenty Beauty owner revealed her spirit was “shaken” by the news.
