TMZ stopped the 55-year-old in Beverly Hills on Wednesday, and she dropped a BOMBSHELL! NeNe was asked what she thought about her former Real Housewives of Atlanta costar’s messy divorce from Kroy Biermann. Surprisingly, she revealed she’d recently reached out to her sworn enemy — and they actually talked for a while! AWESOME news! We love that they were able to squash their beef!

But on the sadder side of things, the Bravo star said she couldn’t actually tell how the mom of six was doing amid the split:

“I don’t know how she’s doing overall. I just reached out to her because she reached out to me during the time when I was really going through something. I would have to think she’s taking it hard. It’s divorce. It’s not easy.”

So Kim reached out to NeNe when she lost her husband Gregg??

As we previously reported, the fashion designer’s husband Gregg sadly lost his battle with colon cancer in late 2021 at only 66. In a birthday tribute last year, NeNe expressed how much she missed her hubby on Instagram, writing in a heartbreaking post:

“I feel like you went somewhere and you’ll be back.”

So, so sad. She clearly needed all the support she could get — we’re just floored to learn Kim was one of those shoulders to cry on!

It seems like even though these two have such a rough history, they know when to step back and take things seriously! It’s shocking to hear that they’re each other’s support system, for sure, but it’s wonderful they’re able to have that relationship, all things considered.

RHOA fans know how bad things got between the two when NeNe filed a lawsuit against the production last year because they allegedly “tolerated — if not, encouraged” Kim’s “racially-insensitive and inappropriate behavior.” The suit claimed she used racial slurs against NeNe as well as some of her other Black co-stars. The legal docs (which were dropped just four months after they were filed) even claimed Kim called NeNe’s house a “roach nest” and suggested she was a drug user. Yikes…

But it sounds like these ladies have always kept their hearts open to one another.

Good thing for Kim, as she needs all the help she can get right now! We’ve been keeping you up to date with all things Kim and Kroy, and it’s been a wild ride. From the insane money woes, to the cops being called multiple times (on both of them!), to a custody battle for their younger kiddos — it’s been one hell of a messy split! The longtime reality TV star and Real Housewives of Atlanta veteran popped up on The Breakfast Club on Monday to address social media rumors that bubbled up over the weekend about her son Brentt.

The rumors came about after Brentt posted an eye-catching video to his TikTok account on Saturday. In it, the 23-year-old man showed a clip of himself standing in a bathroom. He wadded up a ball of paper in his hand and moved to make a basketball shot towards a trash can sitting by the camera. The caption of his clip is what first drew attention:

“If I miss, I’m gay”

Then, after Brentt missed the shot — badly — he snapped his fingers, popped his hip, and gave a sassy look directly at the camera before walking away.

Down in the comments, fans alternated between being shocked about Brentt’s supposed coming out and claiming that he was, in fact, joking with the funny and sassy clip:

In that aforementioned Breakfast Club interview, the 55-year-old Bravo vet explained that Brentt is “not” gay, and appears to have just been playing around in the TikTok clip.

NeNe said:

“Brentt is not gay. Not to my knowledge.”

NeNe admitted she received phone calls from friends who were “concerned” about the video he posted, though. (Why concerned? Gay is great! You know, if you are!) After she fielded a few of those calls, she talked to Brentt herself to ascertain what was going on.

The RHOA alum explained how that conversation went down over the weekend:

“He called me up and was like, ‘Mom, everybody is asking if I’m gay because I did this TikTok thing.’ And I said, ‘it’s OK if you are gay. It’s fine with me.’ And he was like, ‘OK, Mom, I’m not gay.'”

So that’s that, then! Amazed at the TikTok reaction to Brentt’s video, NeNe told host Charlamagne that God that her son’s happiness is “the most important thing” in any situation. And she added:

“I don’t need to ask him, ‘Are you gay?’ What I like to say to people is, ‘whatever makes you happy.’ If my son today says he’s gay, I’m 100 percent OK with it.”

Amen to that!!

If you’ve been keeping up, you’ll know NeNe found herself the target of a lawsuit after Sioh’s wife, Malomine Tehmeh-Sioh, whom the fashion designer shares one child with, alleged the Real Housewives Of Atlanta star basically stole her husband.

Malomine explained in her May court filings that prior to his side relationship with the 54-year-old, the married couple “enjoyed a genuine happy marital relationship,” including an “active sexual relationship.” She further claimed she’s had to face “embarrassment, humiliation and disgrace” following NeNe’s intimate social media post with Sioh last December, which you can see on slides 5 and 9 (below):

The reality star vehemently denied the allegations, explaining in June:

“Ain’t nobody out here stealing husbands.”

Not exactly a good legal argument, but she seems to think the couple were separated before they ever started. Hmm.

Now, Sioh has officially filed for divorce from his estranged wife, further disputing her claims of adultery. In court documents acquired by Page Six, he listed his official date of separation from Malomine as September 19, 2021 — three months before NeNe posted the social media pics with him. Hmm, retroactively changing the date of separation to make yourself not look like a cheater… where have we heard that before? (The answer is from a couple different celebs recently! Which one did YOU think of? LOLz!)

The documents also claim the two hadn’t cohabited OR had marital relations since that time, completely brushing off Malomine’s claims… Sounding a bit like a case of he-said, she-said for now — unless she can prove it was cheating. Either way, it’s pretty messy for NeNe.

NeNe Leakes‘ son Brentt Leakes is lucky to be alive today! According to sources with direct knowledge of the situation who spoke with TMZ on Monday, the 23-year-old was in Atlanta earlier this month when he suffered a heart attack and a stroke! OMG!

Luckily, he was quickly transported to a local hospital where he received medical attention. He was reportedly hospitalized for several days but is now out and rehabbing. Those close to him are hopeful he will make a full recovery. Whoa. We’re so glad he’s okay!

NeNe took to her Instagram Story on Monday morning as news broke to address the reports. As is understandable, the mother was distraught her son’s medical history had been disclosed by a source, saying:

“I’ve gotten tons of text messages, tons of emails. Everybody’s asking and concerned about Brentt, and we thank you guys so much. This is not the way I wanted it to come out. We wanted to be able to talk about it ourself when Brentt was in a better place. So, here I am because I would rather the correct thing be out there than something that’s not correct.”

With that said, she detailed exactly what happened to her son, saying:

“Two weeks ago today Brentt had congested heart failure and a stroke. He’s only 23 so he’s really young for something like that to happen to him. The first thing a lot of doctors think of when someone of that age comes in with that kind of condition is maybe they have done drugs or maybe they have some serious infection, maybe HIV, or some sort of infection is what I’m being told by the doctors.”

The 54-year-old insisted “Brentt doesn’t drink or do drugs.” To be sure, doctors made sure to test him for everything, including HIV. Nothing came back positive. Another theory was maybe he caught COVID and he didn’t know it; apparently, doctors have noticed something similar with people who had the Delta variant. Doctors also think maybe Brentt was “born with some sort of disease” which may have led to this. There are far more questions than answers at this point, she explained:

“They have run a number of tests on him to see what could have possibly made this happen to him. We are still trying to figure out [what happened]. If we knew the cause, obviously, they could treat the cause. It was very scary. I don’t even want to go into details about what happened and how I found out, what condition he was in. Obviously, a stroke is a very serious thing and so he’s struggling with, you know, speaking.”

NeNe asked fans to keep them in their prayers as The Linnethia Lounge owner continues to recuperate. She left things on a positive note by sharing “he has shown some improvement,” adding:

“Brentt FaceTimed me this morning. He’s in good spirits. We’re just shocked.”

We simply cannot imagine how terrifying and emotional this health scare must have been for this family! Especially considering the Real Housewives of Atlanta star lost her husband Gregg Leakes to cancer last year. Addressing this in her post, NeNe noted Brentt was “really stressed out” about the loss in September, which marked the one year anniversary of his father’s death. So sad!! Doctors do no think this affected his physical health nor do they believe his weight did either.

We are sending well wishes to Brentt as he recovers and lots of love to this whole family, including NeNe’s older son Bryson, 32. What a difficult time for them!

The 54-year-old Real Housewives of Atlanta alum has officially dropped her civil suit against Cohen, Bravo, and the network’s parent company NBC Universal. As we’ve been reporting, she had been litigating a claim of discrimination against the TV host and exec, and the companies for which he worked.

That’s according to Page Six, which first obtained legal docs about the dismissal on Monday. Per the outlet, the RHOA alum filed papers with a court in Georgia on Friday to dismiss the case. Leakes had accused Cohen and Bravo of discrimination following reported retaliation after she called out alleged racist comments made by RHOA enemy Kim Zolciak-Biermann.

In the docs, both parties reportedly agreed to “not seek recovery of costs or attorneys’ fees” in the aftermath of the legal battle. So it would seem this whole thing is over months after it began. People reported a little bit deeper on the court docs, which read in part:

“[Leakes] dismisses this action and all claims asserted by Leakes without prejudice. All Parties consent and stipulate to the foregoing dismissal.”

So it’s over!

…Or is it?!

As the docs note (above), the case was dismissed “without prejudice.” That’s an important distinction, because it means Leakes can re-file at any time in the future if she wishes. So there is still a possibility for some legal fireworks here.

It’s interesting because this recently-dismissed suit was filed in Georgia. However, both TV personalities had a requirement in their contracts which stated any legal disputes between them were “subject to arbitration” in Cohen’s home state of New York. So maybe there’s a plan to re-file there, or something??

Of course, NeNe has a long history on RHOA. She was there from day one in 2008 and starred all the way through the 12th season, with a couple years spent in a part-time role. She left the show for good in 2020. But clearly there is bad blood between her and Andy. Reactions, Perezcious readers??

Gregg was diagnosed with colon cancer in June 2018 but went into remission. Sadly, the real estate investor’s illness returned in June 2021 — and in August of the same year NeNe revealed Gregg was “transitioning to the other side” in a crushing Instagram post in which she expressed how “broken” she was. He died aged 66 on September 1, only one week after her post.

On Tuesday, the first of his birthdays she’s experiencing without him by her side, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star penned a sweet message to her late spouse. She began by expressing how much she misses “the man that always had a plan” and continued to open up about how tough the day was on her:

“Missing the man that always had a plan!
Today is a tuff one…every year on this date we would be out celebrating you! I can’t believe we are wishing you a heavenly Birthday today.”

In the tear-jerking post, NeNe says she still feels like her hubby only went out and will “be back”:

“I feel like you went somewhere and you’ll be back.”

So, so sad. It’s such a common occurrence when losing someone — you feel like your loved ones might return any moment… It’s just so hard for our fragile hearts to really grasp forever.

NeNe finished the touching tribute by expressing her love to the New York native:

“I miss you everyday Gregg!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY

As you may know, The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum is currently taking Andy Cohen, Bravo, NBCUniversal, two production companies and executives from those businesses to court for discrimination. She claimed in the court docs they fostered “a corporate and workplace culture in which racially-insensitive and inappropriate behavior is tolerated — if not, encouraged.”

NeNe even called out her former co-star Kim Zolciak-Biermann for being racist towards her, bringing up several incidents over the years, such as her using the N-word to refer to NeNe and their other co-stars, calling her home a “roach nest,’ and more. But despite the reality star sharing her concerns about Kim’s comments to the execs, they “did not terminate their relationship with Zolciak-Biermann, nor take any other meaningful action to put an end to her racially-offensive behavior.” Instead, the 44-year-old received a spinoff series, Don’t Be Tardy, while NeNe was ultimately booted from the series.

Since filing the lawsuit, NeNe has not been afraid to speak out against Andy and Bravo. And on Wednesday, she unleashed on her former boss, saying that he blacklisted her from the industry, AND she even has the evidence to back this up! She wrote on Twitter:

“I am happy I was able to help all the other black women get job opportunities that are working for them. He stopped me from working because I was a threat to his career! Yet he was able to abuse me for years”

Without going into anymore details about what she’s referring to, the mom of two then teased:

“I want to release these voice recordings so bad”

While the initial tweet did not directly say it was about Andy, it is clearly about their situation. However, NeNe still ended up confirming suspicions by re-posting a message from a fan that mentioned the host by name, which said:

“Andy used you until he wanted to kick you to the curb and then slander you so you couldn’t obtain any further work. It’s so disappointing and it is definitely different than how he treats other housewives he disagrees with or has parted ways with.”

NeNe re-tweeted the response, adding:

“They stop every job opportunity that comes my way.”

When someone else slammed her for going after Andy, arguing that no one else in the franchise has problems with him, NeNe shared a response from a fan who mentioned that Real Housewives of Potomac star Monique Samuels has made complaints about the Bravolebrity in the past:

“She was on Potomac, so it’s NOT just Nene. A lot of these woman are afraid of what he could do to their careers that’s why they are being SILENT!!! I am proud of @NeNeLeakes for taking a stand in saying enough is ENOUGH!!!”

The television personality did not stop there! Her Twitter bio also now reads:

As we reported earlier this week, the 55-year-old reality TV veteran is being sued by a woman named Malomine Tehmeh-Sioh in the state of North Carolina for allegedly stealing away her then-husband, Nyonisela Sioh, while the two were still in a relationship.

But the illicit intimacy accusation isn’t going to proceed in court without the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum getting to voice her take on the matter in public! And on Thursday evening, according to TMZ and others, NeNe did just that!

The former Bravo star took to Instagram Live on Thursday night and posted a video for her fans and followers. In it, NeNe slammed the lawsuit’s homewrecking allegations in one fell swoop, saying:

“I’m already out here a husband stealer and this is too much. And ain’t nobody out here stealing husbands. Are they? I would never.”

She didn’t stop there, either, delivering some of her patented sass on the matter as well:

“Nobody wants to steal nobody else’s problems, honey.”

Ha!

Per the outlet, she also told her followers to “show each other a little more love,” so perhaps she’s trying to de-escalate the situation a little bit. Still, her comments are strong and leave no doubt as to her thoughts on the filing. We would expect nothing less from the much-followed and always-feisty RHOA alum!

As we previously reported, Tehmeh-Sioh is seeking over $100,000 in damages from NeNe for emotional distress, public humiliation via social media posts, and loss of affection from her husband leading to the eventual dissolution of her marriage to Nyonisela.

NeNe appeared content to keep flaunting her relationship with the man on Thursday night even despite the lawsuit, as she shared a few snaps of them together a party with her RHOA-adjacent pals and other friends. As you can see (below), her IG Stories were poppin’ off:

Clearly, Leakes isn’t too bothered by the court filing against her up in the state of North Carolina. And she’s content to ride out her relationship with her partner no matter what!

Of course, this isn’t the only lawsuit that NeNe is currently involved in. As we’ve been reporting, the reality TV veteran is suing Bravo and its producers for reportedly fostering a supremely toxic environment on the set of RHOA during her long run on the hit show. When that suit was first revealed back in April, NeNe also publicly called out former co-star Kim Zolciak-Biermann over alleged instances of “systemic racism” during filming.

In a statement given nearly two months ago to The Hollywood Reporter, Leakes’ attorney David deRubertis called out Andy Cohen himself, and said:

“From the day the series began filming, NeNe was the target of systemic racism from costar Zolciak-Biermann, which was tolerated by Bravo executive producer Andy Cohen and other executives.”

FWIW, Kim is not named in NeNe’s lawsuit against Bravo.

Between these two cases, there’s clearly plenty of legal drama to go around right now!
