Many Bravo watchers have called the 42-year-old former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star a “hypocrite” over the past few days. Why is that? During her Two Ts In A Pod podcast episode on Friday, Teddi declared that she would not talk about one of the biggest stories in Housewives lately – Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky’s marriage troubles. She said on the show:

“We have one more ‘Housewives’ headline you guys, I’m sure, are expecting me to cover. Clearly, I have a lot of anxiety, I’ve gotten a lot of messages since I’ve been gone. I’ve been on vacation.”

Teddi explained that she and her co-host Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Judge did a Q&A for the podcast, and there were tons of questions about the situation with Kyle and Mauricio. But as we said, don’t expect her to answer anything! Her lips are sealed out of respect for her friendship with the Halloween Kills actress! She told listeners:

“I just wanted to say that we came up with the decision — myself, Tamra, iHeart, my producers — that everybody has their boundaries, and this is mine. Kyle and Mauricio and their kids are like my family. I love them so much. I understand exactly what my job is here on this podcast and it’s to go down all the rabbit holes. And I think 99 percent of the time, that’s quite easy for me because it’s people I don’t know.”

But this time, Teddi said she needed to “bow out” from the conversation surrounding the couple’s drama:

“I hope those of you as humans understand that when it comes to true friendship, this is more than just ‘Housewives’ or scandal or drama. This is one of my best friends.”

Well, this came as a disappointment to many fans since Teddi no doubt has the tea about what’s going on with Kyle and Mauricio right now. But more than that, they were upset at the reality star’s loyalty since she had zero issues about discussing other Housewives stars divorces or family drama in the past:

“I get Teddi is besties with Kyle and feels compromised but equally it’s a massive HW story that she’d have no problem discussing if it was another cast member – if you’re going to do the job you need to mention it all”

“That is hypocritical. You talk about EVERONE else on your podcast and you talk about personal knowledge as long as it gives you ratings and makes you & your friends look good. You have said some personal messes up stuff about people. But NOW you draw a line in the sand.”

However, others did defend Teddi against the online hate. Many even praised her for being a “true friend” to Kyle while she is going through a tough time in her marriage:

While Kyle was attempting to take off in her black Range Rover on Friday night, she was approached by paparazzi, who asked her a bunch of questions about her current situation. Per a video obtained by Page Six, a videographer asked about the nature of her relationship with Morgan, to which she responded:

“We are very good friends.”

But that person wasn’t satisfied with her answer! When someone asked if the affair with the 28-year-old singer was “just a rumor,” she bluntly said, “Yes.” However, the paps weren’t backing down, questioning her about their matching tattoos. Pointing to her best friend and former co-star Teddi Mellencamp in the passenger seat, she replied:

“We have matching tattoos, too. [Wade’s] not the only one I have a matching tattoo with.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills took to Instagram Stories on Friday to share a since-deleted post that featured an image of some trees and mountains in Aspen, Colorado. However, the stunning views of the landscape weren’t what caught everyone’s attention! It was the mysterious caption with the snapshot that had eyebrows raising. She wrote:

“Parting is such sweet sorrow.”

Hmm. As you know, it came out earlier this week that Kyle was separating from her longtime husband. However, they soon clarified in a joint statement that they were not divorcing – although they had a “challenging” year in their marriage:

“Any claims regarding us divorcing are untrue. However, yes, we have had a rough year. The most challenging one of our marriage. But we both love and respect each other tremendously. There has been no wrongdoing on anyone’s part. Although we are in the public eye, we ask to be able to work through our issues privately. While it may be entertaining to speculate, please do not create false stories to fit a further salacious narrative.”

Of course, they didn’t give any specifics about what happened. But there has been plenty of speculation online over the past week, with many convinced the reason for Kyle and Mauricio’s issues is that she had cheated on him with country star Morgan Wade. Yikes!

But instead of letting the rumors get them down, the couple have put on a united front while spending time in Colorado for the Fourth of July weekend. Mauricio even dropped some pictures from their vacation, including one of the couple. Innerestingly enough, he could be seen still wearing his wedding ring. But given the recent separation reports and rumors of Kyle’s alleged affair, who knows what’s actually going on with the reality star duo now!

When the news of Kyle’s marriage problems with her longtime husband, Mauricio Umansky, broke earlier this week, the rumor mill went wild about what happened between the couple!

The most unexpected speculation? Bravo fans began to question the 54-year-old reality star’s close friendship with the country music star. And the big question on everyone’s minds right now is: Was their relationship not platonic? Was the reason for the “rough year” in Kyle and Mauricio’s marriage because she was cheating on him with Morgan?! That’s what many fans believe — especially after all the evidence discovered over the past week!

Speculation about Kyle’s relationship with Morgan began when people noticed the two spent a lot of time with each other since last year. The If I Was Your Lover songstress even took the Halloween actress to the 2022 Americana Music Honors & Awards and other red-carpet events. They also were caught sporting matching rings and heart tattoos. These details, along with the fact that Kyle wasn’t posting about Mauricio as much anymore, had many fans thinking something was going on between them.

And RHOBH lovers weren’t the only ones suspicious about the relationship between Kyle and Morgan! Apparently, the 28-year-old artist’s ex-girlfriend was too! Speaking with Page Six on Thursday, Kady Cannon revealed that she also had “feelings” about Morgan’s friendship with Kyle while she and the singer were still an item!

She recalled to the outlet that she and the Wilder Days artist had a “private relationship” between November 2021 and August 2022. Although she wouldn’t share details about why they kept their romance under wraps, she was happy to spill the tea about the beginning of Morgan’s friendship with Kyle! The Temptation Island alum remembered that the Bravolebrity came into Morgan’s life around March of last year after she and “a group of girl friends” contacted the singer since they were “fans of her music.”

That’s when a strong bond formed between Kyle and Morgan! And Kady soon took notice of the super close relationship the duo “developed” afterward. As Page Six noted, it really “stuck out to her” at the time. The 30-year-old Kannon Marketing Agency founder refused to elaborate on her comment, noting that she has never met or talked with Kyle. However, Kady did mention that the news of the RHOBH star’s separation from Mauricio “actually” shocked her, adding:

“We’re dealing with somebody’s marriage here, and I don’t take that lightly. I don’t wanna add to anyone’s speculation or opinion one way or another. The only people who can speak on Morgan and Kyle’s relationship or friendship or whatever you wanna call it — and to whatever degree that is — are Morgan and Kyle, and that’s it.”

It seems unlikely we’ll hear any direct comments about an alleged affair from either of those involved. However, Kyle did insist in her and Mauricio’s statement on the divorce rumors that “there has been no wrongdoing on anyone’s part.” A source for The Messenger also swore “there was no cheating” that resulted in the couple’s marriage troubles. They noted specifically:

“Kyle and Morgan are not together and have not hooked up. They are just friends. In regards to any rumors swirling, there has not been any cheating on either side.”

So these cheating rumors could very well be just that — whispers and innuendo! But innerestingly enough, Kady shared with Page Six that she and Morgan also got a tattoo together — not matching like Kyle and the musician’s ink, but still. She also pointed out that Morgan gave her a ring while they were dating. However, the ACM Awards nominee never wore one herself. Hmm…

As for the “K” tattoo fans spotted on Wade’s left arm? Kady was not about to “speak on” it since “she got that after” the exes were no longer “speaking” to each other. Speaking of her breakup with Morgan, the reality star said she ended the relationship – noting that “there were just a lot of things that didn’t add up”:

“I had to let go and move on without having all of those answers. There comes a point where you have to put yourself first and prioritize yourself and value your worth.”

Was the friendship with Kyle potentially the reason for the split?? Ultimately, Kady told she “made the right decision” with the breakup and has “nothing but positive things to say” about Morgan:

“I only want happiness for others. Everything happens for a reason, and everybody comes into your life for a reason. Whatever God had intended for us to learn from one another, you know, I think that it just ran its course.”

Before anyone starts flooding her social media page for more clues about Kyle and Morgan’s alleged relationship, Kady made it clear not everything she posts is a “statement,” and she uses platforms like TikTok as her “creative expression”:

She wrote:

“In regards to the news that came out about us today… Any claims regarding us divorcing are untrue. However, yes, we have had a rough year. The most challenging one of our marriage. But we both love and respect each other tremendously.”

While she may have denied the split, she did admit that she and her hubby had been struggling this year more than any before, and now, a new report seems to echo that.

A source told Entertainment Tonight Thursday that the pair have actually been facing challenges for a while now:

“Kyle and Mauricio have been struggling in their relationship. Their problems aren’t new. They had been spending time apart and doing their own things, but they have been trying to make things work.”

The confidant didn’t lay out any sort of specific timeline, but saying their problems “aren’t new” leaves it pretty open… However, it does track with what Kyle said about the year being a difficult one. Back in March, ET spoke with the 54-year-old about divorce rumblings, and she passively said she wasn’t “losing any sleep,” as she just “can’t keep up anymore.”

After sleuthing around on the internet, fans have come up with a potential theory into why there was trouble in paradise for Kyle and Mauricio. What is it? Country singer Morgan Wade had a huge role in their marriage woes… by being in a relationship with Kyle!!

The evidence? For those who don’t know, there were whispers that something was amiss in the television personalities’ relationship for a while after Kyle stopped posting about Mauricio on social media and acknowledging his Instagram tributes to her. She was also caught without her wedding ring at one point. But there was one person fans noticed popping up on her account a lot over the past year: Morgan.

Earlier this year, people started wondering whether there was trouble in paradise for Kyle and Mauricio when she was spotted without her wedding ring. The Halloween star fueled rumors when she never liked his tribute to her for Valentine’s Day. As we’ve been reporting this week, a shocking insider reveal on Monday claimed the couple of 27 years had decided to separate. Hours after that report dropped, though, Kyle and Mauricio offered the world a straight-up denial of the claims of impending divorce. Instead, they noted they were working through “a rough year” that had been “the most challenging one of our marriage.” And on Tuesday, they popped up in family pics celebrating the July 4th holiday as if nothing at all was the matter!

However, considering the original source said the couple were still living under the same roof and keeping everything quiet, we’re not sure what to think…

Well, now we have some insight. Two of the women closest to Kyle are coming forward with their takes on the issue.

On Tuesday, Kathy Hilton took to Instagram to apparently react to her sister’s possible separation. In a stunning (and potentially shady?!) post that didn’t explicitly mention Kyle, Kathy did offered a side-eyed look at the sitch with this quote:

“My mom once told me, ‘once you are matured, you will realize that silence is more powerful than proving your point.’ And I felt that.”

Hmmm…

Of course, Kathy and Kyle were very recently and very publicly at odds with each other after a memorable meltdown on a Real Housewives of Beverly Hills girls’ trip to Colorado. Kathy did quietly apologize to Kyle over the spat early last month, but maybe it didn’t take??? Or something else is going on?!

Sisterly questions aside, Bethenny Frankel at least offered up a bit more support in her assessment of the situation.

The Skinnygirl founder and longtime former Real Housewives of New York star took to TikTok to address Kyle and Mauricio’s possible split. In a commendable and extremely level-headed commentary from the beach, Frankel first looked back on the couple’s history:

“Kyle and Mauricio have been together for three decades. Kyle was in between auditions… and Mauricio was working in the garment industry. That was many lives ago. They have raised four beautiful children. Relationships are hard in any situation, not to mention the entertainment industry, and the jaded town of Beverly Hills. They have had a remarkable relationship, a partnership, a family, they have traveled the world. What an accomplishment to be together for that long regardless of what they decide to do with their lives now.”

We suppose that’s true. 27 years is a long time even by normal standards, let alone Hollywood marriages! Then, she added:

“But to just break it down to something scandalous is really cheap. I think it’s honestly something so admirable, and something to be respected and cherished, that a couple would be together for three decades. So, I’m on team Kyle and Mauricio, together, apart and happy, or whatever they choose to do with their beautiful family. Take it easy.”

She’s not wrong!

Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky enjoyed the Fourth of July together — and with their children. And curiously, there was no hint of any relationship drama whatsoever!

Of course, on Monday, the news first broke that the longtime couple, who has been together for 27 years, had separated and were no longer in a relationship despite living under the same roof. That report then was muddied late on Monday night, when Kyle came out on Instagram and straight-up denied the separation report! And now, THIS!

On Tuesday, it was Mauricio’s turn to take to IG to put up a united family front. The 53-year-old real estate broker posted a carousel of holiday pics and videos for his 670,000 followers. In the snaps and clips, he showed off the sights and sounds of a very normal and wonderful July 4th celebration: a parade, a flyover, and lots of red, white, and blue!

But most importantly in the context of Monday’s separation claim, there was a LOT of family fun being had! Mauricio and Kyle were seen in close quarters in two of the snaps. Of course, the couple also shares three daughters — Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23, and Portia, 15 — and two of them (Alexia and Portia) were along for the ride, too. And the family dog, as well!!

Well, that’s where things get curious. As we noted up top, on Monday night, Kyle took to Instagram with a very strong denial of the reports about the couple’s supposed separation. Writing directly to her fans about the split reports that bubbled up on Monday afternoon, Richards pushed back hard:
