Colleen Ballinger is clapping back! On Thursday, the internet personality’s legal reps denied claims she was dressed “in blackface” during a resurfaced performance of Single Ladies in a statement to Variety. In the viral video, it appeared she had dark-colored paint on her face – and she did, per her legal team at the law firm Berk Brettler, but it wasn’t what it seemed.

They claim just before belting Single Ladies in 2009, Colleen took the stage with Oliver Tompsett to sing As Long As You’re Mine from Wicked. In honor of the musical, she painted her face green like Elphaba. She kept this same paint on as she immediately transitioned into performing Beyoncé’s song, which she always ended her shows with at the time because it was one of her most popular bits. Amid allegations of racism and grooming young fans, the Miranda Sings star on YouTube is now coming under fire for seemingly wearing blackface in a resurfaced video. In a new clip circulating online, the comedian can be seen performing Beyoncé‘s hit Single Ladies with two others on stage. They all wear black bodysuits, but it’s just Colleen whose face is painted black.

The original video was actually posted on Miranda Sings’ official YT page in February 2018. It is only viewable thanks to a link released in her book, My Diarrhe, which may be why it didn’t generate a ton of backlash until now. It appears she gave the inappropriate AF performance during one of her comedy shows at the time.

This is never a good look, but it is made even more problematic knowing the string of other gross and disturbing allegations levied against the star in recent weeks. If you’ve been following this scandal, you’ll know this all began when a former fan, Adam McIntyre, called Colleen out for allegedly grooming young viewers, encouraging bullying, and asking minors about their sex lives, among other things. The 36-year-old clapped back by releasing a 10-minute video in which she addressed the claims via a cringe-worthy and tone-deaf ukulele song — no apology in sight!

Her former friend and collaborator, Trisha Paytas, then publicly blasted her while revealing Colleen used to share explicit photos of her with fans and hold viewing parties to mock her body. And this happened somewhat recently as she noted the influencer was “well into their 30s who just gave birth.” JFC. Also, April Korto Quioh, a former assistant to the writers and showrunner for Haters Back Off, the content creator’s two-season show with Netflix, spoke out. In a scathing blog post titled You Owe Me An Apology, April slammed the internet personality for alleged racism and inappropriate behavior on set.

For example, the assistant claimed Colleen allegedly insisted the show have limited background actors of color since the series took place in Washington and she thought it’d be “distracting” to have them around. She also demanded an Asian food market be “re-dressed as a bodega for the show and watched her disgust as she demanded assurance that all the ‘Asian s**t’ would be removed before filming.” WTF.

When addressing why all the leads of the show were white, April noted:

“I sat patiently as the Powers That Be expressed concern that the entire main cast for the show was white and silently prayed that since someone with some actual say had spoken up, things might change. And I took note, yet again, as Colleen assured them that they had only casted the best person for each role and that it wasn’t her fault that all of those people ended up being white.”

It gets worse, too. April included alleged screenshots of texts she sent a friend about the aforementioned audition process. In them, April recalls Colleen allegedly yelling out “Where is he” — “implying he is so dark skinned he disappeared.” She continued:

“I recall overhearing her once brag that a creator was being ‘cancelled’ for saying the n-word (and if you think she went with ‘n-word’ instead of hitting that hard ‘r’ then you haven’t been paying attention) and that she would never be stupid enough to get caught doing something like that.”

And now she’s seen performing in what appears to be blackface. Yikes. She better not address this with a freaking ukulele remix because these very serious accusations deserve an equally serious response! Reactions, Perezcious readers?

The (former?) close friends and podcast partners are at odds right now after all the accusations and allegations that have come out against Ballinger recently. And among those issues are new claims that the longtime Miranda Sings star on Youtube allegedly shared Paytas’ OnlyFans content with underage fans while shaming Trisha throughout.

On Monday, Paytas took to her YouTube channel to discuss the shocking and increasingly uncomfortable Ballinger situation. The duo had just recently launched their joint podcast Oversharing with Colleen Ballinger & Trisha Paytas. But judging by the Monday afternoon vid from Paytas, uhhh, that would appear to be going nowhere at this point.

In a video simply titled “colleen,” Paytas said she was first “unaware” of the allegations against Ballinger, and only recently learned of them to the point of being “shocked” by both the claims themselves and Ballinger’s already-infamous 10-minute ukulele song apology late last week.

Referencing the video and new allegations that Ballinger shared and shamed Paytas’ adult-themed content with underage fans, Trisha said:

“Her video came out, and I was just shocked to say the least that she didn’t at least acknowledge the stuff that her own fans were saying, how they felt. It’s a topic I don’t take lightly, and I can’t take lightly, as I am a full-time sex worker… We already have a lot of stigma, misconceptions, allegations against us as sex workers and so I need to nip this in the bud.”

That likely references newly-revealed Twitter posts like that from a ex-fan of Ballinger’s named Johnny Silvestri, who accused Colleen of sharing Paytas’ nude photos and mocking her OnlyFans content with fans behind Trisha’s back. You can see that NSFW tweet with screenshot accusations HERE.

Another Twitter user and YouTuber named Adam McIntyre also accused Ballinger of sending Paytas’ nude content when he was underage, as well. That second tweet allegation from late on Sunday night can also be seen HERE.

In both cases and more, Paytas slammed the situation, calling the illicit recordings and shame-sessions “viewing parties” with fans and reflecting on how violated and discarded she felt over the matter.

She said:

“I do not condone, at all, unsolicited nudes — sending unsolicited nudes to anybody, sex worker or not. I think using someone’s nudes as a way to hurt them, make fun of them, make light of them, be mean, is the lowest form of human.”

And Trisha added:

“These weren’t a long time ago. This is someone well into their 30s who just gave birth, sending nudes. And a month prior, I was in her house, meeting her newborn and doing a Mukbang with her.”

Paytas also slammed Ballinger’s ukulele apology video, saying:

“I don’t stand behind Colleen whatsoever. Her video was not an apology, and it took away from the severity of her actions of talking to minors, bringing minors on stage at her show. These people are speaking up and they’re uncomfortable for a reason. Acknowledge it, change it, do better.”

Trisha went on:

“It’s a lot. And it wasn’t just one occasion. There was multiple times that she sent different photos and different positions of me.”

And then she concluded:

“I will never speak on Colleen again. She just does not exist to me anymore.”

The crooner and her social media influencer guest were talking about sex at one point during the podcast when Meghan let it rip that the Spy Kids alum is “a big boy.” With her brother Ryan Trainor looking on in horror, Meghan said:

“My husband is a big boy. My p***y is broken. I have p***y anxiety.”

Oooookay… Maybe something we didn’t need to know, but now we do, and here we are! Paytas’ jaw hit the floor, and she responded:

“Yours is little and his is big?”

To which the All About That Bass singer answered:

“Yes! To the point where I’m like, ‘is it all in?’ He’s like, ‘just the tip.’ And I’m like, ‘I can’t do anymore!’ How do I fix that? Should I stretch?”

OMG!

As the 29-year-old star explained, the situation doesn’t just come down to Daryl apparently being, um, well-endowed. Meghan also got real about a medical condition she suffers from called vaginismus. That’s a disorder where the muscles of the vagina tense up uncontrollably during sex, leading to serious pain.

According to the Dear Future Husband singer, dealing with that has left her dreading “painful” sex to the point where she “hates” how big Daryl is. She told Trisha that she wanted the ability to “make Daryl smaller with a doctor,” and added:

“I thought every woman around was always in pain during and after sex. I was like, ‘doc, are you telling me I could have sex and not feel a single bit of pain?’ Like, stingy burning? When I was making this baby, I had to ice myself after. We’re not crazy, I’m a starfish, ‘Get it done.’ And then I’m icing myself and saying, ‘There’s gotta be another way.'”

The follow-up following sex sucks, too. Trainor explained on the podcast how she often tells Daryl that her days get more difficult after they get it on:

“I have to work today and I can’t walk.”

Ugh!

When Paytas suggested Trainor should try “sitting on top of” her man, Meghan vociferously turned down that advice. Calling it a “nightmare,” the songstress said:

“He’s like, ‘let’s try.’ I’m like ‘please, no, for so many reasons.’ I’m like, ‘don’t look at me. I don’t like this. This hurts way worse.'”

What happened? Well, social media personality Trisha Paytas joined the 29-year-old singer and her brother Ryan Trainer on their podcast called Workin’ On It to talk about parenthood. During the conversation on Wednesday, Meghan revealed that she and her husband, Daryl Sabara, planned to homeschool their children due to the epidemic of mass shootings in schools across America:

“We’re homeschooling our kids. Everyone on TikTok is like, ‘This is what it’s like having kids in America. I have a bulletproof backpack.’ I was like, f**k all that.”

Trisha agreed with the All About That Bass songstress, adding that they are concerned about bullying from other kids or teachers. That’s when Meghan chimed in to say:

“F**k teachers, dude.”

Yeah… Not cool. Her comment quickly sparked backlash on social media, with many people expressing disappointment in Meghan. They wrote on Twitter:

“Meghan Trainor won’t send her kids to school because of the rising gun violence. Fair point. But… before cussing teachers, did she consider that teachers go to school every day, willing to sacrifice their own lives for kids like hers? But ya know…f*** teachers, right?”

“Teachers of TikTok and teachers of the world, I recently said ‘F teachers’ on the podcast and it’s not how I feel. I was fired up because we were talking about how sending your kid to school here in America is so horrific.

The Grammy winner then claimed Trisha’s story made her feel angry at the time because she and Daryl were bullied by educators in the past, which is why she made the comment on the podcast:

“I did not mean [to say that about] all teachers. I love teachers, I fight for teachers. I think they have the hardest job and they are the most underpaid. They are the most unappreciated when they literally raise all of us. I don’t want to make excuses, I just want to [say] I am so sorry. The memes online got so out of hand that the 34-year-old YouTuber had to hop on TikTok Friday to confirm that she was, in fact, still pregnant and thus did not give birth to the reincarnation of Her Majesty. Trisha admitted in the video that they felt “embarrassed” to see their name trending with the late monarch, saying:

“Yesterday on the internet, I, for some reason, was trending. And I was so scared because I’ve been trying to stay out of drama and everything, and I realized the ultimate internet troll got trolled. And not in a good way. This was attention I did not want.”

The OnlyFans model went on to explain they did not address the rumors when it went viral because it “felt weird to say anything about anything for a number of reasons” and would’ve been in “poor taste” given a family is grieving right now:

“There was a great tragedy, it felt weird. I’m a millennial so I felt weird that people were meme-ing this death. I didn’t want to make it about me. I’m so sorry to the royal family that my name was even trending under the Queen’s, I was just so embarrassed.”

Trisha also noted they “felt like a disappointment” telling anyone who reached out to them with congratulations about the baby’s birth that they were still pregnant before emphasizing to fans:

The teenager — and elder sister of TikTok superstar Charli D’Amelio — attempted to come to big sis’ defense earlier this week and eventually found themselves opposite controversial YouTuber and social media star Trisha Paytas, who called out the siblings for their online personas and behavior.

In a since-deleted TikTok post made as an attempt to “make a point” to get back at Trisha, Dixie shared a video of herself dancing to a resurfaced audio clip of the controversial YouTube rapping the N-word in a cover version of NWA‘s F**k The Police. In the comment section, Dixie confirmed she was “trying to prove a point,” and acknowledged “it’s done” after having made that point about Paytas.

However, Trisha called Dixie out on Twitter for dancing to the N-word in the video, claiming she’d apologized “numerous times” for the clip over a ten-year period and it was Dixie’s turn to show some contrition.

Trisha wrote (below):

“.@dixiedamelio I said this 10 years ago and have since apologized numerous times. u danced and smiled to it YESTERDAY! where’s ur apology ?? Not cool in 2020 girl.”

And with Trisha’s comments, Dixie got a lot of backlash from social media followers for the video, too, and she eventually deleted the post altogether.

So… this was a stunt put on by her team? Is she saying she wasn’t in on it — but blaming the way she treated the chef on that anyway?

Adding fire to the flames was controversial Internet personality Trisha Paytas, who pointed out that the 19-year-old’s video wasn’t exactly an apology, and instead full of “excuses.” She questioned:

“She is saying in this clip that her team knows that she’ll puke at anything… if that’s the case, why set her up in this situation? … Are they setting her up for sabotage? Do they want to make her look bratty? … Was this all a PR stunt just to get more views and followers to her? … Get a new team, girl.”

For the record, the chef confirmed that the snail stunt was meant to be funny, though obviously the idea was a big misfire, to say the VERY least. (He also said he thought the sisters were “the greatest” and plans to work with them again, so anyone offended on his behalf may want to reassess.)

Though Trisha framed her comments as “constructive criticism” rather than hate, but there were apparently plenty of folks who were WAY more vicious in their responses — and it got so bad that Charli claimed she was considering QUITTING TikTok because of it!

In a livestream, the 16-year-old tearfully shared:

“You can not like me, but not attack the way I look or the fact that you don’t want me here. That’s where I kind of draw the line, and honestly, seeing how people reacted to this, I don’t even know if I wanna do this anymore. Like, this is messed up stuff that people are saying. Like, people telling me to hang myself, people blatantly disrespecting the fact that I’m still a human is not okay at all.”

Charli continued:

“You can hate on me for whatever I’ve done, but the fact that all of this is happening because of a misunderstanding, like, I just feel like that’s not okay. And if this is the community that I’m in and the community that I put myself in, I don’t know if I want to do that anymore.”

DAMN!

If the MOST FOLLOWED person on the app is threatening to quit, you know the hate must be pretty bad. (Or she’s playing up the drama?)

Innerestingly, amidst trying to convince her followers that she was sincerely grateful for their support, Charli also had time to call out Trisha’s response specifically:

“I’m just gonna say it, Trisha Paytas … you have been completely rude to me multiple times. Saying, ‘She doesn’t have a personality, she’s basic, she can’t dance.’ Like, you have your own problems, please stop worrying about mine. That’s all I have to say on that, quite honestly, please stop talking about me. You’re not a very nice person. Sorry.”

Of course, the 32-year-old came back with a response to Charli’s clapback, denying sending any hate the teenager’s way and accusing the D’Amelios’ parents of raising them poorly (and pal James Charles of being a bad influence):

And James weighed in as well, defending his friends — and shading Trisha along the way, as he tweeted:

“this charli situation is NOT sitting right with me… 100M followers in one year & y’all expect her to know how to be a perfect role model? death threats because she’s a picky eater & made a joke about a milestone? 30+ year olds dragging someone half their age? feels familiar”
