Brennan Ray and Angell Hammersmith posted a heart-wrenching video last week of their young neighbor Shayden Walker, who got up the courage to go to ask if they knew anyone he could be friends with. In the clip from the couple’s doorbell camera, he could be seen wearing a Jaws tee and shuffling nervously on the front steps of their home in Amarillo, Texas. When Brennan answered the door, Shayden asked:

“Hi. I just wanted to see if you knew any kids around like, 11 or 12, maybe, because I need some friends. Like, really bad.”

Brennan then directed him toward another house down the street where a few kids lived. However, Shayden immediately turned that idea down for a heartbreaking reason. He explained to Brennan that those kids down the street aren’t his friends anymore because they bullied him. The boy then asked his neighbor if he had any children. Brennan did – but he had a 2-year-old daughter. That didn’t deter Shayden, who replied:

“Oh, OK that’s great. I love 2-year-olds to be honest. They’re just the most cutest things I have ever known. I used to have a 2-year-old sister. She was a handful, but I really enjoyed having spending time with her.”

Our hearts just break for Shayden! That was really brave of him for asking. A part-two video posted by the couple showed that Shayden had approached their house 30 minutes before this interaction. However, he seemingly became nervous and turned away. And now, Brennan and Angell decided to do something nice for him to make him “feel special.”

The pair’s initial video quickly went viral, with more than 66 million views and 10 million likes, so they decided to launch a GoFundMe for the kid to help him make friends. They set the goal to $7,000, explaining that the money would get him a gaming system, school clothes, and possibly some amusement park tickets.

But Shayden’s story tugged at the heartstrings of many people. With an outpouring of support, Angell and Brennan blew their donation goal out of the park and raised more than $37,000 for the child! That’s amazing! The duo posted in the GoFundMe:

“Thank you all for your generosity and kindness! We expected to see support from this community but we’re shocked and amazed by how everyone’s shown up for Shayden. We decided to turn off donations while we coordinate with his family, but all funds will stay in the GoFundMe account until then. We’ll keep you updated along the way. Thank you! #kindnessmatters”

In another Tiktok video, Brennan and Angell express how they were “thankful” for everyone’s generosity and shared that they were going to meet Shayden soon.

Colleen Ballinger is clapping back! On Thursday, the internet personality’s legal reps denied claims she was dressed “in blackface” during a resurfaced performance of Single Ladies in a statement to Variety. In the viral video, it appeared she had dark-colored paint on her face – and she did, per her legal team at the law firm Berk Brettler, but it wasn’t what it seemed.

They claim just before belting Single Ladies in 2009, Colleen took the stage with Oliver Tompsett to sing As Long As You’re Mine from Wicked. In honor of the musical, she painted her face green like Elphaba. She kept this same paint on as she immediately transitioned into performing Beyoncé’s song, which she always ended her shows with at the time because it was one of her most popular bits. Amid allegations of racism and grooming young fans, the Miranda Sings star on YouTube is now coming under fire for seemingly wearing blackface in a resurfaced video. In a new clip circulating online, the comedian can be seen performing Beyoncé‘s hit Single Ladies with two others on stage. They all wear black bodysuits, but it’s just Colleen whose face is painted black.

The original video was actually posted on Miranda Sings’ official YT page in February 2018. It is only viewable thanks to a link released in her book, My Diarrhe, which may be why it didn’t generate a ton of backlash until now. It appears she gave the inappropriate AF performance during one of her comedy shows at the time.

This is never a good look, but it is made even more problematic knowing the string of other gross and disturbing allegations levied against the star in recent weeks. If you’ve been following this scandal, you’ll know this all began when a former fan, Adam McIntyre, called Colleen out for allegedly grooming young viewers, encouraging bullying, and asking minors about their sex lives, among other things. The 36-year-old clapped back by releasing a 10-minute video in which she addressed the claims via a cringe-worthy and tone-deaf ukulele song — no apology in sight!

Her former friend and collaborator, Trisha Paytas, then publicly blasted her while revealing Colleen used to share explicit photos of her with fans and hold viewing parties to mock her body. And this happened somewhat recently as she noted the influencer was “well into their 30s who just gave birth.” JFC. Also, April Korto Quioh, a former assistant to the writers and showrunner for Haters Back Off, the content creator’s two-season show with Netflix, spoke out. In a scathing blog post titled You Owe Me An Apology, April slammed the internet personality for alleged racism and inappropriate behavior on set.

For example, the assistant claimed Colleen allegedly insisted the show have limited background actors of color since the series took place in Washington and she thought it’d be “distracting” to have them around. She also demanded an Asian food market be “re-dressed as a bodega for the show and watched her disgust as she demanded assurance that all the ‘Asian s**t’ would be removed before filming.” WTF.

When addressing why all the leads of the show were white, April noted:

“I sat patiently as the Powers That Be expressed concern that the entire main cast for the show was white and silently prayed that since someone with some actual say had spoken up, things might change. And I took note, yet again, as Colleen assured them that they had only casted the best person for each role and that it wasn’t her fault that all of those people ended up being white.”

It gets worse, too. April included alleged screenshots of texts she sent a friend about the aforementioned audition process. In them, April recalls Colleen allegedly yelling out “Where is he” — “implying he is so dark skinned he disappeared.” She continued:

“I recall overhearing her once brag that a creator was being ‘cancelled’ for saying the n-word (and if you think she went with ‘n-word’ instead of hitting that hard ‘r’ then you haven’t been paying attention) and that she would never be stupid enough to get caught doing something like that.”

And now she’s seen performing in what appears to be blackface. Yikes. She better not address this with a freaking ukulele remix because these very serious accusations deserve an equally serious response! Reactions, Perezcious readers?

Wow. Noah Cyrus has been dealing with so much unnecessary hate since announcing her engagement — and she’s calling it all out!

If you missed the big news, the 23-year-old announced earlier this week that she officially said “yes” when boyfriend Pinkus proposed. The German designer popped the Q just two months after they went public with their romance, so this all happened fast! But, hey, when ya know, ya know! While we were all happy for Miley Cyrus‘ kid sis, apparently there were a TON of trolls who slid into her comment section leaving nasty messages. And it’s taken a toll on her mental health. Awful!

Taking to her Instagram Story on Thursday, the Make Me (Cry) singer reflected on her past mental health struggles and how these feelings have been stirred up because of this onslaught of online hatred. She expressed:

“Since I’ve announced something so pure and happy for me and my life, the internet and commenters have been working so hard to take the joy, love and happiness from me. Today being surrounded of comments calling me ugly, and commenting on my face and body — as you all did when I was just 11-12 years old.”

The Ponyo star, who grew up in the shadow of her mega-famous sister, recalled the criticism she received as such a young child — while she “was still forming my brain.” Noting how it had a detrimental impact on her mental health, she continued:

“I was lead to believe by these same people on the internet that myself — that little girl self — didn’t deserve to live because she was not good enough and did not reach your beauty standards. I’ve been reminded again today how deeply f**ked the internet is and how it turned me against myself and lead myself to believe I should kill myself, wasn’t worth living, ending up suicidal and dependent on drugs.”

Jeez. That’s terrible. Looking into the future, she continued:

“I worry so deeply for the children growing up on the internet and for my own children. No one deserves the words I’ve read today, and I’m lucky I’m in a place that these words don’t trigger me into hurting myself once again. The internet is hell on earth, and we’re all here together.”

The fact that she was trying to share a huge milestone in her life with her fans and was then met with this reaction? Def hell on earth!

In a follow-up post, Noah clarified that she’s addressing this issue in hopes of raising awareness for those “being affected by these same words being told to them and far worse”:

“We live in 2023, we have GOT to stop judging people for who they love, what they look like, where they come from, and how THEY live THEIR lives. I’m so sick of it. People are losing their lives to these type of words. Murderous words that you people drop at the press of a button, and there is never any accountability held. I’m so tired of seeing it on the daily. It really makes me sick.”

Leaving things off on a positive note, she told her fans:

“You’re all so beautiful, and I love you. I hope you feel my love from afar today, wherever you may be.”

Such a thoughtful post about a very serious problem.

It’s also not the first time Noah has spoken openly about her mental health challenges and drug addiction. In an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1 in September of last year, she revealed how in December 2020 she “decided to try and kick my addiction to downers, prescription pills, painkillers, Xanax.” Before seeking help, she realized later:

“I was just waiting for one day that maybe I wouldn’t wake up. I don’t know where it was heading. There were a lot of scary moments.”

She’s been through and overcome so much at her young age! We’re so sorry her happy moment was ruined by these harsh commenters and hope her vulnerability in speaking out helps bring an end to this online bullying. Reactions? Let us know (below).

While the Rhode Beauty founder may have liked the pics, which were snapped in Paris, her fans did NOT! The Lose You To Love Me vocalist’s page was flooded with nasty comments, in which haters called her “jealous” and claimed she was “copying” the 26-year-old’s style, among way worse insults!

Noticing the hate, the beauty guru hopped onto her own IG Story to CALL OUT all her supporters, she wrote on Monday night:

Making her stance very clear on online bullying, she added:

“Doing that is not supporting me. If you are participating in that you are a part of a culture that I want no part of. Please be nice or don’t say anything.”

At this time, the Disney Channel alum hasn’t addressed the continued feud rumors, but it’s still nice to see Hailey shutting down her own followers. The YouTube star, who grew super famous for her alter ego Miranda Sings, is now getting dragged by former fans for allegedly grooming young viewers, encouraging bullying, and asking female followers about their periods — among other things!

If some of this sounds familiar, there’s a reason for that. This controversy actually dates back to 2020 when Irish teen Adam McIntyre, who used to be a former megafan, released a scathing video on YouTube making serious allegations against the content creator — with receipts.

Among the accusations, he claimed Colleen struck up an inappropriate and toxic friendship with him in 2016 when he was just 13 and she was in her 30s (and he insists she was well aware of his young age). Apparently, after wearing a bra and underwear during a livestream, Colleen sent it to the teenager, which totally freaked out his parents. About a year later, Adam claims Colleen asked him to help out with her Miranda Twitter account, where he would ghostwrite for her.

The former stan claims he tweeted for her for over a year — going so far as to keep up with her analytics, too — with the hope he’d get to come to America and become one of her interns. But then he posted two jokey “coming out” tweets where Miranda came out as a Meghan Trainor fan. Her fans did NOT like it at all and slammed the YouTuber for queerbaiting. Due to the backlash, Adam argued Colleen immediately ghosted him, ending their friendship.

At the time of these allegations, Colleen released a lengthy video apologizing for her wrongdoings — which also included allegations of racism and fat-shaming. In the candid video, she claimed Adam only had access to her Twitter account for one day, and that she removed him once things went poorly with the previously mentioned tweets. Because of this apology video, the backlash died down quickly with most siding with Colleen. Now, though? Everything’s changing.

On Wednesday, Adam, now in his 20s, returned to the video-sharing platform with a nearly 2-hour video exposing even more secrets about his problematic relationship with the 36-year-old. In screenshots from an alleged group chat both Adam and Colleen were a part of (as well as many others), he claimed Colleen asked him for an “ass” photo, asked female fans to describe their first periods, and made fun of a fan who got a tattoo in her honor. Damn! She allegedly also asked Adam when he lost his virginity (and other inappropriate questions like what his “favorite sexual position” was), commented on fans’ appearances, and encouraged bullying.

He added elsewhere:

“For anyone who’s a fan of Colleen Ballinger… they make fun of you [behind the scenes], they make fun of your appearance, they make fun of things you do, and I know because I was also with them doing it except one group of us were in our 30s, one group of us had not even hit the ripe age of 15 yet.”

In one disturbing interaction between the fan and celeb, Adam recalled a time the comedian allegedly invited him to visit her in Dublin — but she ultimately left him alone after allegedly giving him incorrect directions. The young man claims she was annoyed when she found out his parents would be accompanying him during the visit. Just 14 at the time, he reflected:

“I felt abandoned in a city I did not know.”

He went on to claim the actress would love bomb him to make him feel special, such as praising and encouraging him to run her aforementioned social media accounts without pay or credit. And there’s WAY more where this came from. You can hear ALL the allegations with the so-called proof (below):

But everyone’s jaws were on the floor when they read his added caption that said:

“[I] am a [Taylor Swift] fan – of course – but how do we know for sure they’re different people?”

He’s since deleted the post… but seriously, Elon? At his age, he’s posting the kind of crap you’d expect out of a poorly parented 12-year-old Fortnite player? You’d think he’d be old enough to know that making fun of appearances is the lowest blow — but considering he’s not even old enough to know not to role-play pervertedly as his young son on an alt account, we can’t say it’s surprising at this point.

But one thing about Tay Tay, if you’re gonna come for her, you’re gonna feel the wrath of her Swifties! And boy did they ever deliver. The comment didn’t sit well with Francia, and she unfollowed the Rare Beauty founder from Instagram! The Who Says singer then made everything messier when she commented on the controversy on TikTok, saying:

Sassy! Since then, Selena’s referred to Francia as her “best friend” and said some very kind things about her in an Apple TV+ Dear… episode, but it’s unclear if the project was filmed before or after the feud broke out. Either way, it doesn’t seem like things have improved! Last week while walking her dog, Francia dodged questions about her ex-best friend — but now she’s tackling the situation head-on.

While chatting with the videographer, the 34-year-old revealed she has been dealing with a s**t ton of “bad” comments from Selena’s biggest fans, including things like:

She literally has a whole non-profit dedicated to mental health [Rare Impact Fund], and I believe Rare Beauty just even had an event dedicated for mental health, so the fact that now I’m being bullied as I am — and it is messing with me mentally. To me, it’s not what anyone wants for someone.”

The Secret Life of the American Teenager alum then referenced Selena’s other enemy, Hailey Bieber, saying:

“And, you know, she’s literally out there saying ‘please stop,’ so I don’t understand why it’s not stopping. Not just for me but for others that are also being antagonized online.”

She makes a great point! Selena has been SO outspoken about mental health and wanting her fans to treat others with respect and to avoid all the drama… yet some of her fiercest defenders are doing the exact opposite! The latest example of the pop star urging her fans to Calm Down came when she asked them to stop bullying and sending Justin Bieber’s wife death threats. If you’re new to #FingerGate, the drama caught traction when Prince William and Prince Harry‘s father ascended the throne in September following Queen Elizabeth II‘s death. Images of his hands quickly went viral, with others resurfacing a joke he made during a 2012 Australian tour when he teasingly referred to his fingers as “sausage fingers.”

During a trip to Wales in the early days of his reign, eagle-eyed viewers immediately noticed how raw and red his fingers became while greeting others, making them worried something could be wrong. At the time, he was saying hello to a line of hundreds of people outside Llandaff Cathedral. As he walked the line, the inner side of his hand appeared very red, with sensitivity at the knuckles and joints of his fingers. You can get a glimpse at what had fans concerned HERE. Dr. Gareth Nye, a physician, reassured onlookers, telling the Daily Star:

“There aren’t any immediate health concerns to be concluded from swollen fingers and is most likely a sign of his age.”

Meanwhile, Page Six reported his fingers are puffy because of an undisclosed medical condition. Either way, it’s clear the controversy has reached the palace and they’re doing everything in their power to shut down the chatter! Though they may have made it all worse by hiding the King’s hands too obviously. Hah!

There will be no hiding Charles’ hands during Saturday’s televised coronation, that’s for sure! Reactions??

During The Kelly Clarkson Show on Tuesday, the 40-year-old singer got emotional while chatting with guest Henry Winkler about the challenges she and ex-husband Brandon Blackstock’s 8-year-old daughter River Rose Blackstock has faced due to her dyslexia. Kelly began the vulnerable convo by praising the 77-year-old actor, who is also dyslexic, for writing several children’s books over the years:

“You’re such a successful writer. Which is such a great story. But it was interesting because I was driving my daughter to school yesterday, and she’s dyslexic. And you have told me that you’re dyslexic as well. I find that amazing, to tell my daughter that you’ve written like 40 books and you’re dyslexic.”

She then revealed her daughter was “getting bullied at school for not being able to read like all the other kids.”

Ugh, that is so awful! No one should ever be made fun of for having a learning disability. Kelly noted she “didn’t know how common” dyslexia was, while Henry said that 1 in 5 children are diagnosed. He added:

“She’s in the tribe!”

Kelly went on to share that after River’s school did a presentation on dyslexia, she started to feel more “empowered” — especially once learning how the Barry star and other celebrities have been open about it in the past, recalling:

“Her school actually did a whole thing on dyslexia, and they pointed out, Captain America, Anthony Mackie, is dyslexic. Shazam, Zachary Levi, is dyslexic. You’re dyslexic, they were showing all your pictures, and everything that y’all have done, and just the success of that, and it really empowered her that y’all are so open about it.”

Looking directly into the camera, Henry then told the host’s daughter:

“River! How you learn has nothing to do with how brilliant you are.”

Yes! Well said!

That sweet message overwhelmed Kelly with emotion to the point that she began to tear up. While dabbing her eyes with a tissue, the momma of two replied:

“We’re fine. It’s fine. My makeup artist is going to kill me. That’s so nice.”

Netflix streamed the first-ever *LIVE* Love Is Blind reunion to wrap up Season 4 of the hit series on Sunday night. Unfortunately, not everyone got to watch the drama go down in real-time due to frustrating technical difficulties that caused an hour-long delay.

During the livestream, hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey were joined by all three married couples:

• Tiffany Pennywell and Brett Brown
• Chelsea Griffin and Kwame Appiah
• Bliss Poureetezadi and Zack Goytowski

Paul Peden, Micah Lussier, Marshall Glaze, and even Irina Solomonova were also there. Jackie Bonds and Josh Demas didn’t attend the event and merely showed up in a pre-recorded video call with Vanessa. Sigh. But let’s focus on what did happen…

Who’s Still Married?

Let’s start with the obvious: are all the couples still married?! Surprisingly, yes! All three!

Chelsea and Kwame, who took a lot of heat for their relationship throughout the season, said they are living together in an apartment in Portland, Oregon. Chelsea also revealed she met her husband’s mother during Thanksgiving, and all is well! Great!

Meanwhile, fan favorites Tiffany and Brett are also doing AH-mazingly! They, too, are living in Portland and are enjoying their new life together. Lastly, Zack and Bliss are happily married. Even Bliss’ father has learned to love her lawyer hubby — Bliss said they’re best buddies now!

Now for the juicier stuff…

Paul & Micah

As Perezcious readers may know, Paul and Micah were engaged until Paul ultimately said no at the altar. He revealed they briefly dated after the disastrous wedding, including a visit to Micah’s home in Arizona, but they ended things very quickly.

During the reunion, Paul took a TON of heat for claiming he ended things with his ex because he didn’t believe she’d be a good mother. Yeah, ouch. What made it even worse was, this was apparently all news to Micah! She said couldn’t understand the comment since she had always told Paul how important it was for her to start a family someday. Amid repeated questions from Vanessa and Micah, Paul ultimately said he just didn’t feel like the marketing manager had a nurturing quality to her. Oof.

Irina Called Out

Speaking of Micah, her bestie on the show and fellow mean girl Irina was also in attendance – and boy did she have a lot of explaining to do! She first apologized to Zack, her initial fiancé, for treating him so poorly, claiming she was having a tough time with mental health struggles at the time of filming. He fought back saying viewers only saw “10% of” the way Irina hurt him and other cast members, arguing:

“If we’re real, you went on this show to get famous.”

Still, he had sympathy for what she was going through in the public eye, noting:

“It has been punishment enough for the entire world to see them at their worst. Trust me, Irina, Micah, everybody here who did something. We all did something stupid.”

Interestingly, Zack’s wifey wasn’t so willing to let her husband’s bully slide! While she acknowledged Irina’s mental health claims, Bliss chimed in to Micah:

“You did tell me when you landed in Mexico that I dodged a bullet while you also texted him, ‘I’m so sorry, let’s talk. I hope something happens with you and Bliss.’”

Whoa! How two-faced if true! And Bliss called her out on it:

“I think you can have panic attacks and you can have trouble with mental illness and all of that. That’s totally valid. But then you’re turning around and you’re doing malicious things and you’re acting in really cruel ways. It’s hard to reconcile those two things.”

Jackie, Marshall, and Josh

Now to another feisty love triangle! Yup, we’re talking about Jackie, Marshall, and Josh! If you watched the show, you’ll know Jackie and Marshall got engaged but then quickly experienced problems in their relationship, particularly after Jackie told her husband-to-be to boss up. Jackie has continued to speak out about the pair’s relationship on social media after the show aired, so there was obviously a lot to discuss… but unfortunately, she didn’t show!

Instead, Jackie and Josh, who have been together ever since the show wrapped a year ago, appeared together in a video interview with Vanessa. Jackie insisted she and Marshall broke up before she ever saw Josh on the coffee date. She then attacked her ex, claiming he called her a “derogatory name.” Even though she believes it was a joke, it led to a fight and he left for three days. She also alleged Marshall wanted the engagement ring back to propose to another castmate!

Marshall was clearly pissed he couldn’t talk things out with Jackie and Josh in person (as seen above), but he did share his two cents. On the so-called derogatory term he used, he vehemently denied the allegations. He explained he did say something insensitive after Jackie consistently took jabs at him though, sharing:

“You got a strong jawline. I mean, like, you could’ve been a man for all I know.”

He explained he “did not use a derogatory term” and insisted “that word is not in my vocabulary.” Specific word or not, what an ignorant thing to say!

On the ring, he confirmed he asked for it back, saying he didn’t think his ex deserved “to have that symbol of my love.” But he claims he “did not want to propose to anybody else.” He admitted to going on one date with cast member Kacia Clark after the breakup — but said it didn’t last because he wasn’t ready.

Ultimately, he said he felt “slighted” for the second time on the show after Jackie refused to show up in person like everything else. (The first reason was being unable to make it to the altar because Jackie didn’t see the process through the whole way.) He ended his segment by begging the public to move on from the messy love triangle:

“There’s a lot that’s going into this and I’m just going to direct this to the public. At this point, this is not about Jackie and Marshall anymore. Let that be bygones… Let them move on, let me move on and just forget it. Jackie and Josh are happy. She’s happy. I’m happy. Let it die.”
