Throughout the latest season of The Kardashians, Kourtney Kardashian has been upset with Kim Kardashian over her decision to partner with Dolce & Gabbana shortly after the 44-year-old POOSH founder got married to Travis Barker. She accused the 42-year-old’s Milan Fashion Week collaboration with the brand of “copying” her wedding vibes. She said in a previous episode:

“It’s almost like a greediness. If I look at the photos from the fashion show, half of the time I’m like, ‘Is this my wedding?’ There’s no decency to ask me how I felt about her doing this so closely to my wedding. No one just gives a f**k about anything. It’s like the Wild West—like, ‘We’re just gonna take and do as we want. Whatever’s best for us.’”

However, Kimmy Kakes was not standing for the accusations. And if there’s one thing we know about the momma of four, she will pull out receipts! She said in a confessional that her big sister had taken certain ideas from her own 2014 wedding with Kanye West, including having Andrea perform:

“I got married in Italy. Am I saying you copied me by getting married in Italy? Who performed at my wedding? Andrea Bocelli. Who performed at Kourtney’s wedding? Andrea Bocelli. You stole my f**king wedding country and my wedding performer. Andrea Bocelli is my favorite male singer of all time, but I’m copying her dolce vita lifestyle? OK.”

It’s been a whole mess. But thankfully, they seem to call a truce for now. After finding himself in the middle of the girls’ feud, Andrea decided to react to the whole situation! But don’t expect him to choose sides – he’s not pulling a Bethenny Frankel! The 64-year-old singer took to Instagram Stories on Friday to say:

“Dear @kimkardashian and @kourtneykardash, I’m so flattered that you both love my voice and I’ll always be happy to sing to you. But know that there’s a younger and far more helpful artist @matteobocelli who your mother @krisjenner knows very well. See you soon in Tuscany!”

FYI, Matteo Bocelli also performed with his dad at Kourtney and Travis’ wedding last year. He also shared the same clip from the reality show, telling Kris Jenner to “hit me up” along with a laughing face emoji. Basically, these two want to make it clear to Kim and Kourt that there is no need to fight over Andrea! Lolz! See his response to the feud drama (below):

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex sat down for a candid conversation in a CBS tell-all which aired in March 2021, shortly after they exited their roles as working royals and moved to California.

The interview would end up revealing allegations of mistreatment and racism the Sussexes reportedly had to deal with from the prestigious family, including conversations about the couple’s then-unborn son Prince Archie‘s skin color. Innerestingly, Harry has since denied ever accusing the royals of being racist, but rather of exhibiting unconscious bias.

It was a tumultuous time for the entire royal family, but it seems Will may have been feeling the most guilty going in — because he was so worried he couldn’t eat, per sources!

In a heated debate on Dan Wootton‘s GB News on Tuesday, Mail on Sunday‘s Editor-at-Large, Charlotte Griffiths, declared:

“I’ve heard this for a long time now from many different sources … in the lead-up to that Oprah interview, William was quite literally sick with worry. He was not eating, and he became — not reclusive — but he definitely was hiding away. He went to a royal residence for a period of time to cut himself off from the world. He was just in bits, basically.”

Later, the reporter stressed how serious the situation was, adding:

“Literally, he couldn’t eat for a week before the Oprah interviews.”

All because he was worried about what Harry would say? Jeez. Does this mean he thought he had a reason to be nervous?! Despite all this anticipation, Harry went pretty easy on his older brother, compared to others, in the Oprah sit-down — much unlike he did in Spare! Was he worried something else would be revealed? Like the story about him hitting Harry? Something else??

Unlike Will, Princess Catherine, AKA Kate Middleton, got “steely” as she was ready to step in to “protect” her husband, Charlotte shared:

“And what Kate was doing was standing by her man. Kate was like, ‘I’ve got to stick up for this guy and protect him. He’s being destroyed by this,’ and that probably made her quite steely, even though she has this reputation for being shy. But when it comes to protecting her husband, she’s going to step in and protect him.”

This comes after it was revealed Kate and William fought to make sure Queen Elizabeth II‘s statement after the TV special hit back as hard as possible at the racism claims.

In an excerpt of the paperback edition of Valentine Low‘s book Courtiers, he claimed the Prince and Princess of Wales campaigned for the inclusion of the phrase “some recollections may vary” in the statement. As Perezcious readers know, Elizabeth said at the time:

“The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan. The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. Whilst some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately. Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved family members.”

The phrase in question was key to showing the royal family did not stand by everything their estranged relative had declared. It was the shadiest line by far in the response — and it almost didn’t make it into the official press release, Valentine wrote:

“It had a much milder version. The debate was, do your rise entirely above it and offer the olive branch of (Harry and Meghan being) ‘much loved members of the family’? Or is there some moment when you have to intervene and offer a view?”

Thanks to the Cambridges, a more aggressive version was published:

“They wanted it toughened up a bit. They were both of one mind that we needed something that said that the institution did not accept a lot of what had been said.”

Kate and Will’s plan worked! And we could likely be seeing more strategic moves like this in the future. According to Low’s source, the mother of three is now “playing the long game” as she knows she’ll be queen one day. So, she’s preparing for her big moment when she’s really in charge. And, let’s just say, that doesn’t bode well for Harry or Meghan if all this is true! If William and Kate haven’t softened to the couple at this point, who knows if the feud will ever resolve itself…

Thursday’s brand-new episode of The Kardashians on Hulu brought the famous sisters to a resolution (well, kind of) on their previously-endless spat over Kourt’s Italian wedding last May and Kim’s supposed copy-cat fashion show in Milan a few months later.

As Perezcious readers will no doubt recall, we’ve been covering all the drama around these two reality TV vets and their super contentious spat. And now, it would seem that’s all water under the bridge. Er, uh, we hope?!

On Thursday’s new Hulu ep, the SKIMS mogul and the Lemme lead finally got to sit down face-to-face and have it out about their Dolce & Gabbana-based feud.

Kim kicked off the convo, first explaining to the Poosh founder that the initial plan was for SKIMS to collaborate with D&G for a fashion show. However, that quickly changed, as the 42-year-old explained to her older sister:

“Then I called you. I said, ‘SKIMS is not doing it,’ because we couldn’t get it together that quickly. I kept saying, ‘I don’t want to do this because it’s so close to Kourtney’s wedding — I want it to be completely different.'”

Without SKIMS in the collaboration, D&G’s designers told Kim they were going to go ahead with the Milan Fashion Week show — but only with archive-inspired looks from their own fashion house alone.

Of course, those archived looks ended up being remarkably similar to the vibe Kourt gave off in her May 2022 wedding to Travis Barker in Portofino, Italy. And that has been what’s eaten at Kourtney this entire time!!

The newly-pregnant mom explained her issue with it to Kim:

“You weren’t like, ‘hey, I’d love to know how you feel about this.’ You called me after the deal was done.”

In return, Kim pointed out that younger sister Kylie Jenner had also recently done a D&G show. And while it wasn’t as closely related to Kourt’s nuptials look as the event Kim came up with, Kylie’s was a topic of note for the whole fam, too.

But for whatever reason, Kim complained privately, Kourtney only came after her and not Kylie. Speaking to confessional cameras, the Selfish author said:

“It’s something with me, and I cannot figure out fully what it is.”

Hmmm…

Kim also got frustrated later in the convo when she pointed out how she was actually the first one to get married in Italy. And she was the first one to hire Andrea Bocelli to sing at her wedding!! In a more contentious confessional clip, Kim remarked on the similarities between her 2014 wedding to now-ex-husband Kanye West in Florence, and wondered whether it was actually Kourt who ripped off that vibe:

“I got married in Italy. Am I saying you copied me by getting married in Italy? Who performed at my wedding? Andrea Bocelli. Who performed at Kourtney’s wedding? Andrea Bocelli.”

Oof! And she wasn’t done there! Kim then added:

“You stole my f**king wedding country and my wedding performer. Andrea Bocelli is my favorite male singer of all time, but I’m copying her dolce vida lifestyle? OK.”

Damn!!

Kim also went on to add that she first did shoots with D&G’s archived ’90s looks back in 2017. And those looks were in line with the very same vibe Kourtney chose for her wedding last May. While the mom of four claimed that those vintage fashion styles fit the “mood board” of her wedding to the Blink-182 drummer, Kim replied that “they [D&G] hadn’t done them since [her 2017 shoot], until your wedding.”

And that’s not a bad point?! If the copycat accusations go one way, it’s only fair they go the other, too, right?!

Even while trying to settle their differences, Kim still managed to get a few digs in at Kourtney. At one point during their conversation, the SKKN By Kim exec claimed that there was so much D&G at Kravis‘ wedding that “everyone thought it was so sponsored.”

Kourtney didn’t care for that characterization, replying:

“I don’t care what anyone thinks. I didn’t make that choice for my wedding because of money.”

At the end of it all, though, Kim actually tried to acquiesce to some of Kourtney’s concerns. And Kim seemed to actually understand the fact that her older sister was most upset about how “no one called” her to let her know about Kim’s fashion week show running so soon (and so similarly) after the wedding.

Late in the convo, Kim finally conceded:

“I would be upset, I get it. I feel you.”

Progress!

In a confessional, Kourtney went on to explain why the issue has been so important to her:

“When I do have things that are mine, I get protective over what feels like it’s part of me. There’s also something about being able to be content and happy with what you have without feeling like you need more.”

Ultimately, the fashion fracas is only part of the issue here. By the end of their sit-down, both Kourt and Kim reminisced on how they used to be so close. Only in recent years has their bond been fractured a bit by life and emotional distance.

Kourtney was the first one who tried to mend the fences on that point, telling her younger sister:

“We’re in different places — that doesn’t mean we can’t do things together. I used to be mad or mean when I was hurt, but now I feel like I avoid.”

And Kim came back with an apology for the entire situation:

“I’m happy for the experience, but I’m sad and sorry that the experience ever hurt you.”

TMZ stopped the 55-year-old in Beverly Hills on Wednesday, and she dropped a BOMBSHELL! NeNe was asked what she thought about her former Real Housewives of Atlanta costar’s messy divorce from Kroy Biermann. Surprisingly, she revealed she’d recently reached out to her sworn enemy — and they actually talked for a while! AWESOME news! We love that they were able to squash their beef!

But on the sadder side of things, the Bravo star said she couldn’t actually tell how the mom of six was doing amid the split:

“I don’t know how she’s doing overall. I just reached out to her because she reached out to me during the time when I was really going through something. I would have to think she’s taking it hard. It’s divorce. It’s not easy.”

So Kim reached out to NeNe when she lost her husband Gregg??

As we previously reported, the fashion designer’s husband Gregg sadly lost his battle with colon cancer in late 2021 at only 66. In a birthday tribute last year, NeNe expressed how much she missed her hubby on Instagram, writing in a heartbreaking post:

“I feel like you went somewhere and you’ll be back.”

So, so sad. She clearly needed all the support she could get — we’re just floored to learn Kim was one of those shoulders to cry on!

It seems like even though these two have such a rough history, they know when to step back and take things seriously! It’s shocking to hear that they’re each other’s support system, for sure, but it’s wonderful they’re able to have that relationship, all things considered.

RHOA fans know how bad things got between the two when NeNe filed a lawsuit against the production last year because they allegedly “tolerated — if not, encouraged” Kim’s “racially-insensitive and inappropriate behavior.” The suit claimed she used racial slurs against NeNe as well as some of her other Black co-stars. The legal docs (which were dropped just four months after they were filed) even claimed Kim called NeNe’s house a “roach nest” and suggested she was a drug user. Yikes…

But it sounds like these ladies have always kept their hearts open to one another.

Good thing for Kim, as she needs all the help she can get right now! We’ve been keeping you up to date with all things Kim and Kroy, and it’s been a wild ride. “I did this to push me mentally and emotionally, but knowing that Kourtney is mad just kills my vibe. This was too big of a moment to not be proud.”

However, Kourt isn’t buying one word of what Kimmy Kakes says, and they’ve resorted to verbally battling it on the show over this whole mess. Things seem to be escalating to the point where we’ll see the pair sit down and hash out the drama for the cameras. But in the meantime, someone outside of the Kardashian-Jenner family is weighing on the whole matter: Bethenny. And she had a lot to say about the ridiculous issue!

The longtime critic of the KarJenners hopped on TikTok Friday to shade Kourtney’s “commercial” with Dolce & Gabbana, saying she is on Kim’s side in the whole “debacle.” Ouch, Bethenny! She said in the video:

“So Kourtney’s commercial — aka wedding — by Dolce & Gabbana was sponsored. Everybody was dressed, the trip was paid for, Kris [Jenner] grabbed every lira off the ground she could grab. Then Kim ended up doing a campaign with Dolce that was oddly familiar.”

At the end of the day, The Real Housewives of New York alum pointed out that Kourtney never would have been offered the opportunity to have a Dolce & Gabbana-themed wedding without the SKIMS creator:

“Kim was the one who laid the groundwork for all of the [Kardashians] and the [Jenners]. So she who makes the gold, makes the rules. They are gonna want Kim. She is the most famous Kardashian. Private planes don’t grow on trees. Kris is gonna grab all those nickels and get all those deals. Don’t hate the player, hate the game.”

She has a point! The 52-year-old Bravolebrity then mentioned that the soon-to-be mom of four should have paid for the ceremony herself instead of working with a big brand like D&G if she wasted it to be unique:

“With branding and with sponsorships come obligations. Nobody gets out without paying the bill.”

Now, Kim has confirmed what many have thought: her brief cameo in season two of AJLT will be her last hurrah as Samantha Jones. Ugh!! She told Hoda Kotb and Jenna Hager on Today Friday about her time working with Sex and the City costume designer Patricia Field while filming the episode:

“We went shopping at Bergdorf. We got a great freaking outfit. … It felt like dipping my toe back in time and having a wonderful afternoon. So it felt like dipping my toe back in time and having a wonderful afternoon – and then a great martini!”

When asked if her experience on set changed her mind about returning to the series full-time or making more cameos in the future, Kim quickly replied:

“This is as far as I’m gonna go.”

BUT Kim also doesn’t feel like she’ll “ever say goodbye to Samantha,” adding:

“She’s like a lot of other characters that I’ve done over the years. I get very emotionally attached and protective of my characters. She gave me so much, and I’m so appreciative of her.”

Sorry, SATC fans! But we may have to accept the fact that this is the end of the road for Samantha Jones in the franchise. Unless the head of HBO can somehow muster up a deal she couldn’t refuse… Wishful thinking? Maybe! But we cannot help but want to see Samantha on our screens again! As Perezcious readers know, the couple sat down for an interview with Oprah Winfrey in March of 2021, during which they dropped a number of bombshells about the royal family. These accusations included the institution’s failure to help Meghan as she struggled with the media and her mental health, and an unnamed family member commented on the skin color of their then-unborn son, Prince Archie. It was an explosive interview, to say the least! And it no doubt ruined their relationship with the family.

Afterward, everyone was on the edge of their seats, waiting to see how the royals would respond. And when it finally came, people immediately took notice of a few words: “Some recollections may vary.” The statement read at the time:

“The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan. The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. Whilst some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately. Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved family members.”

Although the royal family’s official response came from the late Queen Elizabeth II, Prince William and Princess Catherine apparently had a huge part in shaping the statement behind the scenes! According to an excerpt in The Times from author Valentine Low’s new book Courtiers, there was originally a “milder version” of the statement that did not include the famous “some recollections may vary” line! An insider told him:

“It had a much milder version. The debate was, do your rise entirely above it and offer the olive branch of (Harry and Meghan being) ‘much loved members of the family’? Or is there some moment when you have to intervene and offer a view?”

Some in the palace were worried about starting a “tit-for-tat” situation with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. But for William and Catherine? They did not approve of the tamer response to the matter and pushed for “toughened up” wording that made it clear the family did not agree with Meghan and Harry’s version of events – at all:

“They wanted it toughened up a bit. They were both of one mind that we needed something that said that the institution did not accept a lot of what had been said.”

According to Low, William demanded the courtiers come up with some way “of making sure that we are saying that this does not stand,” and Catherine was “right behind him on it.” Damn! They were really pissed about the whole situation, huh?! It was then that the future king’s private secretary, Jean-Christophe Gray, created the “recollections may vary” phrase. Once it was included, Catherine personally fought for it to remain in the final version:

“It was Kate who clearly made the point, ‘History will judge this statement and unless this phrase or a phrase like it is included, everything that they have said will be taken as true.’”

The scathing draft was sent to Buckingham Palace, with Queen Elizabeth giving her stamp of approval. And we all know the drama that has ensued ever since. Reactions, Perezcious readers? Bless him, Andy Cohen still lets fans ask the tough questions on Watch What Happens Live, and that’s just what happened to Cynthia on Thursday night. So what does Miranda have to say about more Kim Cattrall on Season 3 of AJLT?? What are the odds she comes back for “a larger role”??

“I think very, very small. It was a cameo. I think it was a special treat for the 25th anniversary.”

A “special treat.” It sounds like she — and presumably pal Sarah Jessica Parker — aren’t exactly Jonesing for more Jones. They were just doing fans a solid…

Only… It’s not necessarily up to them, is it? Kim revealed on The View she was contacted by the head of HBO himself. So if the ratings are good enough for that “special treat” a one-off could become a regular thing all too easily. All they’d have to do is continue filming Samantha separately, right? It’s not unheard of. And if that’s the mandate that gets a Season 3 greenlit, it may still happen!

SJP said something very similar on Thursday! Speaking of Andy, she popped in for a convo on his Radio Andy show in which she lamented the leak, saying:

“It’s a big bummer because it would have been so, like, fireworks… And also we want to make sure expectations are real. It’s a little exchange that is happy and says everything about their relationship, all the stuff that’s off camera. They’re talking, they talk all the time — and it comes at a significant moment in the series, so…”

We can definitely see how it would have been an amazing surprise. But also…

We have to wonder if this leak was intentional on the part of someone over at HBO Max. After all, the first season of AJLT got a rather mixed reception. Samantha’s appearance may be a spoiler, but it’s also the best advertising this second season could have hoped for. Almost like maybe that’s what the head of HBO was going for?? Just maybe…

In a new interview with Bloomberg‘s The Circuit out on Thursday, the Rhode Skin founder opened up about her longtime feud with Selena Gomez — whom she’s been pitted against for years now after both women were attached to Justin Bieber. Things reached a fever pitch earlier this year when Hailey was called out for seemingly bullying Selena.

The controversy led to fans doing a deep dive and finding what they believed was resurfaced evidence proving Hailey had doing a ton of shady s**t in her rumored war with her now-husband’s most famous ex. And yet… she insists none of this was EVER actually true!

When host Emily Chang subtly brought up the drama — without naming the Only Murders in the Building star, but clips of news stories played on the screen — the 26-year-old didn’t hesitate to name-drop the actress while putting the feud rumors on blast. She said:

“I don’t think that this is about me, Hailey Bieber, and Selena Gomez. This is not about this pitting between two women — it’s about the vile, disgusting hatred that can come from completely made-up and twisted, and perpetuated narratives that can be really dangerous.”

Just wanting the controversy to stop once and for all, the model continued:

“And I think that it’s an opportunity to really stand for bringing people together and not being okay with the kind of division that it caused, because I’m not okay with [it]. I don’t like this whole idea of team this person and team this person — I want to be able to bring people together and I think that it was a really important moment for people to see that you can do that and it doesn’t have to be about this whole divisive nature.”

We’re not totally sure Hailey and Selena have brought “people together” amid all this — at least in the way she’s implying. Sure, they’ve done their best to shut down negative comments and they even posed for a photo together to try and prove the feud was blown out of proportion, but that hasn’t stopped the commentary. She can dream, though!

The host agreed with Hailey’s thought process on this, though, saying it’s a “frustrating old narrative” of two women pitted against each other “because of a man.” This is exactly what bugs the socialite so much, she replied:

“I hate it. I’ve hated it since the beginning and it goes back to being misunderstood. Time and time again I say there is no issue and it’s so disappointing that people still behave this way over a man.”

Referencing her new beauty brand and her intentions for her career, she complained about the way the internet has a way of f**king up her plans and reputation, saying:

“I don’t want silly made-up drama to affect what I’m focusing and working on. There’s narratives that exist for me that really hurt my feelings and make me really upset.”

These days, she finds comfort in creating content she “has control over,” such as on her YouTube channel, where she finds the platform to be “really embracing and [a] positive space” unlike TikTok which tends to be “nasty” and “negative.” We don’t disagree that the haters can be really problematic — and they do need to cool it with death threats and the like!!! — but it might also help if Hailey just moved on. Continuing to speak on this topic is only going to make it seem like more of a problem than she claims it is.

The Poosh founder took to Instagram on Thursday afternoon to deliver a fresh snap celebrating her new legally-changed name following her marriage last year to Travis Barker.

Now that she’s officially Kourtney Kardashian Barker (yay!!!), it made sense the proud momma would want to show off a little bit. Nothing wrong with that!! But is there more to the story here than meets the eye?!

As you can see (below), the 44-year-old’s Thursday afternoon post was short, sweet, and right to the point. In it, she revealed the results of her unglamorous DMV photoshoot with nothing but a sterile driver’s license headshot and her new legal moniker.

And for good measure, she captioned the pic appropriately, too:

“say my name”

Love it!!

Say her (new) name, indeed!

Sooo… what’s the controversy?!

Well, as fans of The Kardashians are no doubt already thinking, the series’ latest ep dropped on Hulu on Thursday, too. In it, Kourt’s little sis Kim Kardashian was shown hilariously shutting down a California DMV with a team of hair and makeup artists to prep for and snap (multiple takes of) her driver’s license photo.

The government-centered glam shot made for a very cute event in the streaming ep. At one point, the 42-year-old SKIMS mogul joked it was “the most important photo you’ll ever take,” and prepped accordingly. Thursday’s DMV trip made for a particularly funny moment in a series that is in desperate need of some lighthearted humor! (Paging Todd Kraines!! LOLz!)

Anyways, when Kourt posted her own dressed-down, very normal DMV pic HOURS LATER, fans couldn’t help but notice the timing! Was she shading her sis?

Of course, it doesn’t help that the two sisters have been engaged in a vicious multi-episode-long feud regarding the Lemme founder’s Dolce & Gabbana-styled wedding last May and Kim’s extremely similar subsequent D&G fashion show months after that!!

So down in the IG comments of Kourt’s new update, fans hopped in to offer their takes on the tension, as you can see (below):

“Did they shut down the DMV for you too or just Kim?!”

No shade to Kourt on celebrating her legal name change after getting hitched to Travis. That is so great! But posting a DMV pic right afterward does kinda feel like shade, right?!?!
