As Perezcious readers may recall, back in April, the Hurricane rapper was sued over how things were reportedly running at Donda Academy. At that time, that first lawsuit alleged racial discrimination, bizarre management, and unsafe conditions inside the school. And now, there’s a second lawsuit winding its way through court alleging even more wild claims!!

On Thursday, a former gym teacher at the controversial academy filed a lawsuit with a Los Angeles-area court. In that filing, per Billboard, ex-gym instructor Isaiah Meadows claims he was unfairly fired after he “raised concerns about inconsistent pay and serious health and safety issues.”

Those concerns run the gamut of issues around the school. Per the outlet, they include issues with “overflowing septic tanks and dangerous electrical fires.” But beyond the allegedly dangerous conditions inside the school building — which are obviously bad enough in their own right — Meadows’ suit paints a picture of a very bizarre set-up supposedly orchestrated by Ye himself.

In one case, Meadows claims, Donda Academy students were left “exposed to the elements” inside the school building because the Chicago-born rapper “did not like glass.” As in, Donda supposedly had no glass inside its window frames by Ye’s directive — just totally open air!

WTF?!?!

Meadows’ suit states:

“In the middle of the main classroom, a skylight was left without glass inevitably allowing rain to fall directly inside, where water would soak into the floor, which would lead to a moldy smell for the next few days. The skylight was intentionally without glass because WEST expressed that he did not like glass.”

The Jesus Walks rapper supposedly didn’t like glass?! What’s there not to like about glass?? It’s see-through! It’s just… there! You don’t even really think about it!!

Meadows’ suit went deeper, too, as we referenced above. In another part of the filing, he claimed the school had “serious wiring issues” in its electrical set-up. One notable incident occurred when Meadows claimed an electrical fire “sparked near the student eating area where a wire was laid atop the ground, exposed.” OMG… And plumbing was apparently a problem, as well. Meadows’ suit asserts the school’s septic tank would “overflow every other day, causing a terrible smell.”

Gross!!

The ex-gym teacher’s attorney also released a statement after he filed the case on Thursday. Ron Zambrano, who represents the former instructor in the suit, said it is his intention to make Donda Academy face their “absolutely egregious” working conditions in order to “hold them accountable.”

Zambrano continued:

“The unlawful and retaliatory behavior by Mr. West and the school directors have now been documented multiple times by other former employees who never even worked together but all experienced the same horrendous treatment and witnessed the same serious health, safety and education code violations, while all were subjected to the same fate.”

Per Billboard, the lawsuit seeks damages due to alleged breach of contract, as well as the violation of several California labor laws including wage issues, improper classification, and wrongful termination. According to that outlet, neither West nor the school itself have commented on the matter.

During the latest episode of The Kardashians, the 42-year-old reality star breaks down while discussing the fallout from her ex-husband’s antisemitic comments. When asked by Khloé Kardashian how she is, Kim immediately begins sobbing!

She gets emotional, saying she’s “not OK” and can “not get it together” — to the point where she hasn’t “changed my outfit in like two days.” Yeesh!

Comforting her big sister, the Good American founder responds:

“You don’t have to get it together. You don’t have to be strong all the time. You’re allowed to go through this and have your feelings. What you’ve been dealing with is not okay.”

It’s clear the controversy took an emotional toll on Kim, more than she ever let on in public. Maybe that’s because she didn’t know what to say or do??

In a confessional, she shares that she has no idea how to deal with Kanye’s situation – especially whether to continue speaking out about it:

“It’s really confusing for me that it’s so different than the person that I married because that’s who I loved and that’s who I remember. I’ll do anything to get that person back. The whole situation is sad, and I don’t know how to emotionally manage it. I’m conflicted because I don’t ever want to jump in and be a part of a downfall for the father of my kids. It’s really f**king hard. And I don’t wish that upon anybody.”

Back in her conversation with Khloé, the momma of four admits she feels “so bad” for the 46-year-old rapper:

“I feel so bad for him. I don’t even think he feels bad for himself because I don’t even know if he knows how… I just feel so bad.”

Inneresting. It seems like she stopped herself short of implying Ye doesn’t know what’s going on. Hmm.

Kim notes she hasn’t reached out to Ye about the scandal — mainly because she believes “he’ll probably go off on” her. Yeah, that sadly was a strong possibility, given that he wasn’t shy about calling her or then-boyfriend Pete Davidson out on social media in the past. She tells Khloé she even feels “guilty” for posting a message in support of the Jewish community — and potentially causing her ex to lose his brand deals:

“I feel guilty that I posted something in support of the Jewish community, then people dropped him today. Is that my fault? That I posted that? And did that push them? And I should have just kept quiet? But I’m vocal about everything else…I never know what to do.”

But Koko makes it clear to Kim it’s not her fault Kanye was dropped from several partnerships due to her message — instead it’s 100 percent his vile actions and behavior. She explains to her big sis:

“He had so many opportunities to retract what he said and he would double down all the time. Sometimes our silence speaks louder, and what you did was not wrong. What you did had nothing to do with what’s happening right now.”

She continues:

“You’re such a good person and that’s why you feel like this and that’s why your heart is breaking for him. People have probably wanted to cancel him for a while and he’s always said, ‘I’m not cancellable.’ … And now, this is probably just the last thing.”

Still, Kim is struggling with what to do. Although she wants to cut ties with Kanye, she has to think of their four kids — North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm — first:

“I’m never like a ‘woe is me’ sad kind of person, but there’s times when I get overwhelmed. I’m so angry, but I’m also so sad. Your instinct wants to be like, ‘Wow, I can never talk to this person again,’ but then you think of your babies. I’m having a hard time figuring it out.”

It’s a lot of pressure! And ultimately, the television personality points out she’s just trying her best to manage the situation and “hide everything” from their children for as long as possible:

“I am just in protection mode of my kids, and just try to hide everything. It’s just hard for me to figure out — if they don’t know anything, why wouldn’t dad come over for dinner? Why isn’t dad at my things? That kills me. It’s the one thing that gives me anxiety. Because then I’m embarrassed if people are going to say something at a game or a function. Is it safe? Is it dangerous? I just don’t know what to do. I’ve been managing it the best way that I know how because I want my kids to see a healthy dad.”

Meanwhile, Khloé expresses how she’s “heartbroken” to see her sister falling apart:

“It’s such a helpless feeling because me watching Ye is like watching a car crash in slow motion. I feel terrible about everything. None of us share these antisemitic views. We think it’s gravely irresponsible. We’re all very aware of the following that Kanye has, and how his words can be used to rile people up.”

This whole awful situation must be so hard for Kim to navigate with their kids — and  things will only get tougher as they get older and eventually ask questions about Kanye’s scandal. As you most likely know by now, the 45-year-old rapper’s career and life started to crumble last year after he faced backlash for his increasingly erratic behavior. His hate speech quickly lost him deals with multiple companies, including Adidas, Balenciaga, and Gap.

This time must have been painful for the mom of four to watch play out. And now, we’re finally getting a peek into how she grappled with the controversy on The Kardashians. In a preview for next week’s episode of the Hulu series, the 42-year-old reality star broke down sobbing in her sister Khloé Kardashian’s arms while acknowledging how Ye is no longer the man she married back in 2014.

When the Good American founder asked how Kim was doing in the teaser, the SKIMS creator leaned her head back, started to cry, and shared how she was “not OK” right now. An upset Kim wiped her tears before seeking support from Khloé, saying:

“I just can’t.”

Although the heartbreaking moment doesn’t mention Kanye by name, it seems pretty clear she’s crying over her ex-husband. Further proof? In her confessional, she alluded to the Yeezy designer’s vile behavior, telling the cameras:

“It’s so different from the person that I married. That’s who I loved and that’s who I remember.”

Kim then shared that she was willing to do whatever it took to have the man she once knew come back:

“I’ll do anything to get that person back.”

So, so sad. This isn’t the first time she has opened up about Kanye’s controversy. Earlier in the season, the American Horror Story actress expressed how exhausting his online attacks have been, saying:

“It’s the hardest feeling to watch someone you really loved and you have a family with just be so different than who you knew. Sometimes I feel like if he were to hit rock bottom, that’s his journey that he needs to figure out on his own. I used to run around and call everyone behind his back, and be like, ‘It’s gonna be OK, it’s gonna be OK, don’t worry. Just give him another chance.’ I just don’t have that energy.”

The Saturday Night Live alum is reportedly at the same Pennsylvania facility where BFF John Mulaney got help for his drinking and drug use relapse in 2020. But it’s not the drugs that brought Pete to the place. The comedian is getting treatment for his borderline personality disorder and PTSD, sources told Page Six on Wednesday.

A friend made it clear to the outlet this is not an emergency situation, saying:

“Pete regularly goes to rehab for ‘tune ups’ and to take a mental break, so that’s what’s happening.”

That’s right. This isn’t the first time Pete has been in rehab, and it won’t be the last. He’s taking care of himself and asking for help when he needs it — not waiting to hit rock bottom.

The friend added that the comic is “taking a well deserved break so he can focus on himself and learn to better deal with his PTSD issues.” Sounds really healthy, tbh. Even if Kanye West couldn’t understand that kind of mental health upkeep, we think it’s great.

The 42-year-old reality TV star is the subject of a new in-depth interview in Vogue Italia this week. The Italian high-fashion mag released their feature with the SKIMS mogul on Monday, and already, we’ve got plenty to pick out from within!

Most notably, the Kardashians star is speaking out about the aftermath of her divorce from the Hurricane rapper. She’s not calling him out or anything, though. Well, not specifically. And she didn’t even use his name in the interview!!

However, she did use her soft landing with the mag to explain how she feels about having to co-parent the former couple’s four children — North, 10, Saint, 7, Chicago, 5, and Psalm, 4 — while Ye continues to perform bizarre antics in public with his new “wife” Bianca Censori.

When asked about how she keeps herself so cool and collected around her kids amid the Chicago-born rapper’s unruly outbursts and unpredictable periods, Kim credited her late father Robert Kardashian Sr. with teaching her how to stay calm. Then, she admitted how she hides away from her kids when she’s most upset, saying:

“If it’s something concerning my kids’ dad and I’m upset, I try not to show as much emotion. I have to be ready to explain why I’m upset and it might not be appropriate for them to know. There’s nothing worse than, ‘you’ll understand when you’re older.’ I don’t want to be that person. But if I’m upset about other things that they can understand, I absolutely will show emotion and cry.”

Honestly, it’s not a bad call. There’s no point in riling the kids up over something they can’t know about now, at their age and all. And Kim has thus far done a good job of keeping it all away from them across the internet, too — especially with North, who is now at an age where she’s using TikTok and other social media outlets.

Still, it’s not easy.

Later in the interview, Kim acknowledged how she just had to keep pushing forward after her difficult divorce from Ye no matter what to make sure her children were growing as they needed to be:

“Sometimes you just don’t really have a choice. Would I have made the situation better if I handled it in any other way? No. Would I have made it worse? Yes. I think at some point you just have to surrender to not getting the last word and not having your truth out there. I also saw a really good example from my parents. And that was helpful. It makes me want to be an example for my kids too.”

Speaking of North and her TikTok use, as we referenced a moment ago, Vogue Italia asked Kim about that as well.

Interestingly, the SKKN By Kim mogul admitted that she wished her eldest daughter would not spend time on social media. But nevertheless, the Selfish author acknowledged that she believes it’s so far being done in a healthy way:

“In a perfect world would they be on social media? No, but my eldest daughter is light and playful about it. She just genuinely loves to do videos with me. As things come up we’ll have those conversations. North does not have social media on her phone yet, she also has weeks without being on her phone and is not a dependent person on her phone. If she was, I would be a little bit more concerned.”

Well said. That’ll only get more difficult to navigate as North gets older, of course. But it sounds like Kim has a solid foundation for what to do when North’s teen years come and all that…

Pretty quickly, fans started to criticize the clip, particularly because they didn’t think the song was appropriate for someone as young as North!

Many also pointed out that her dad Kanye West has NEVER been a fan of his children using the app, but despite his constant complaints, Kim’s always seemed to win this battle. While she’s not backing down on her decision to let her eldest daughter on social media — she does have some regrets! On the aforementioned video, the 42-year-old revealed:

“As soon as I saw the words, I was like, ‘Oh no, we’re taking this down.’ I saw on the internet, [people saying] ‘Kanye was right,’ and maybe he was in that instance, but she loves making slime videos and doing her little hair tutorials, and I will fight for her to be creative.”

Yeah, we mean, “Bet he blowin’ her back” isn’t exactly for the kids!

As for what it’s been like to co-parent with the musician, especially when they don’t see eye-to-eye on situations like this, she continued:

“I think it’s always tough when you’re co-parenting and someone wants something and someone doesn’t. I think that’s the trial and error sometimes.”

The SKIMS founder added:

“It’s always a compromise. No one’s always gonna agree, and you just have to do the best as you can as a parent to try to protect your kids, but also let them be creative.”

Then what the actual eff were the eight or so years with Kim all about? Remember when she had four of his kids? When she defended him no matter what he was saying publicly, remember that?? He rewarded that loyalty by going harder and harder right-wing, to the point of literally hanging out with neo-Nazis. He showed respect to his wife by airing their most devastatingly personal dirty laundry to score points in a presidential campaign he didn’t even care about winning.

The point is, Kim stood by him for so long — and now she never understood him? Never loved him “for the person he is”? The gall to shade the mother of his children by telling his inner circle that!

The celeb-filled bash was as decadent as any of his past birthdays we remember, complete with tables of sushi — served on the bodies of naked women. You’ve probably heard of this before, if not anywhere near where you live, maybe in the Sex and the City movie or when a couple of the Real Housewives lectured a model for doing it.

The practice, known as “nyotaimori,” is thought to have begun in Japanese brothels hundreds of years ago, beginning with sake being drunk out of pubic areas. The models are meant to lie perfectly still and quiet as their bodies are used. So yeah, it’s always been considered an erotic treat for those who can afford it.

So… why the heck did Ye order this at a party his 9-year-old kid was going to be at??

Yeah, as you might have heard, North West was present at the party, hanging with Daddy and his new “wife” Bianca Censori. We try hard not to kink shame, and as long as models and/or sex workers are paid a fair wage they’re happy with for the work, where’s the harm, right? But with kids there? It’s not far off from having straight-up strippers at your party…

We know it’s more subtle than that, and nyotaimori is going to have its defenders as a culinary experience or even an art form, but are you really going to make the argument a 9-year-old can make that distinction? Such a weird decision!

Especially for a guy who got in trouble with then-wife Kim Kardashian for chastising her over her revealing Met Gala dress a few years back. Ye tried to make her feel ashamed for being “too sexy”!

He was captured on KUWTK cameras nagging:

“I went through this transition where being a rapper, looking at all these girls and looking at my wife, like, ‘Oh my girl needs to be just like the other girls showing their body off.’ I didn’t realize that that was affecting my soul and my spirit as someone who is married and the father of now … about to be four kids. A corset is a form of underwear, it’s hot, for who though?”

So if he’s now moved into such a self-righteous state, where he believes a woman’s body is for her husband only… WTF is this naked sushi woman thing about?? Is he being a hypocrite? Well, not exactly…

We’d argue he’s being consistent — just consistently terrible. We think this is more evidence that wasn’t about protecting Kim’s privacy or belief in modesty or anything like that. It was a gross patriarchal desire to own her body. If you figure Kanye thinks women’s bodies are just for Kanye, it all suddenly makes sense, right? Just a guess.

The artist stepped out to celebrate his 46th birthday at a private party in El Lay over the weekend. As we’ve come to expect, his new “wife” was by his side, too. But it wasn’t just Bianca Censori who drew attention on the outing. Kanye’s 9-year-old daughter North West did, too. AND she was seen holding Bianca’s hand in paparazzi snaps from outside the venue!

On Sunday afternoon, Page Six published paparazzi pics from Saturday night’s outing. The Chicago-born rapper and his pixie cut-donning wife made a scene on the street on their way into a private party to celebrate Ye’s birthday milestone. And as the pics very clearly show, North was also there. She was smiling and appeared happy while holding Bianca’s hand as the trio walked inside the exclusive event!

North looked stylish in a gray top with shorts and black boots. She also had what appeared to be some kind of paint spread across her face. So, definitely a little avant garde, it would seem. She is Kanye’s daughter, after all!

Meanwhile, Ye’s new “wife” was rocking her now-usual pixie cut along with a black leather trench coat and boots of her own. As for the Hurricane rapper himself, Ye chose just a low-key all-black outfit. It’s probably better for him to keep it simple with his outfits at this point.

Obviously, the world has had a lot of questions recently regarding how Kim Kardashian and the four kids she shares with her ex-husband would handle Bianca’s presence in his life. There has been previous insider talk of the KarJenner fam dragging their feet a bit on working Bianca into the fray with North and her siblings Saint, 7, Chicago, 5, and Psalm, 4.

But these new snaps would seem to indicate that, at the very least, the ex-couple’s oldest child is cool with it??

Once inside the hotspot for Saturday night’s party, things apparently continued to go “swimmingly,” per Page Six. That outlet reported North was filmed by a private videographer lip-syncing to her dad’s song Off The Grid. The whole time, per the new org, Bianca “grinned in the background.”

Elsewhere at the party, nude models reportedly laid on tables with platters of sushi covering their privates. So it was that kind of party for some guests! Risqué! The outlet also notes other stars were in attendance on Saturday night, including Chloe Bailey and Ty Dolla Sign.

Now, for what it’s worth, this is not the first time North has hung out with Censori. The duo had dinner (with Kanye, natch) at Nobu out in Malibu just weeks after the Jesus Walks rapper first wed the architectural designer in that infamous non-legally-binding ceremony back in January.

Bianca and North were also spotted hanging out at Universal Studios Hollywood together back in March. And later that month, they joined Ye for church one day, too. So there has been some interaction between them.

She’s not exactly being forthright about her recent romantic entanglement — which is her right!! But for the longtime reality TV star’s legions of loyal fans, this serious unknown is piquing everybody’s interest and then some!!

First thing on Thursday, the newest episode of the The Kardashians dropped. There was plenty to take in during the brand-new look at America’s most famous family, but nothing grabbed our attention quite like the peeks into Kim’s dating life.

As Perezcious readers will recall, late last week, we got a sneak peek at a lunch date Kim had with longtime pal Scott Disick. During their sit-down, the Lord asked Kim about who she was dating and jokingly called the unidentified man “Fred.” And now we’re finally learning more about this Fab Freddy who’s sweeping Kim off her feet!!!

On Thursday, we watched how Kim’s full lunch convo with Kourtney Kardashian‘s ex played out. First, Scott queried the SKIMS mogul about how he hasn’t seen her out and about much recently:

“So, I haven’t really seen you out on any dates or anything.”

Frustrated, Kim replied that with her public profile, going out on a first date in public is nearly impossible:

“Well, it’s just hard because what do those first dates look like? Behind doors, can’t go out. It’s kind of awkward. Here’s the thing, if you are seen with someone, then if it’s starting to not work out, you almost have to try to make it work a little longer because you’re so embarrassed that it was so quick.”

Inneresting! She’s not wrong about that!

The camera cut away to a confessional after that, in which Kim acknowledged how media coverage made her fling with Pete Davidson seem “like a very serious relationship.” (To be fair, the man got a brand for her, but OK.) Instead, the SKKN By Kim exec explained, she was simply trying to have a good time, both with Pete the and her new man now:

“I just want to sneak around a little bit. Like, there’s nothing wrong with wanting to sneak.”

No, there isn’t! But you are on a reality show about you. So you have to give us something!

As for “Fred”, Kim did give us a little more dirt on her new dating sitch. She told Lord Disick about how she met her mystery guy at a hotel in NYC with a “private room” — ideal for keeping high-end first dates away from prying eyes.

She named the hotspot on the show — and acknowledged how she and her Saturday Night Live alum ex-boyfriend used to hang out there, too — but Hulu producers bleeped it out when it came time to air:

“What’s so funny is my friends wanted me to meet someone, so we go to New York and we go to [bleeped]. That’s, like, my spot, because there’s a private room downstairs. But then on the internet, it was like, ‘Kim reconnects with Pete at this place.'”

Damn!

And as for this current romantic focus, Kim told Scott she’s up for playing the field a bit:

“I don’t want to just date one person, but I’ve never dated.”

Hey, it’s like planting a tree, right? The best time is 20 years ago, but the second best time is now! Just go for it, gurl! We know Kim is a self-described relationship girl, but there’s nothing wrong with seeing what’s out there!

Elsewhere during Thursday’s new ep, Kim got real about sex. The Selfish author remarked to Scott about how impressed she is that her icon Cher dated Alexander ‘AE’ Edwards, who is 40 years her junior.

Kim told the 40-year-old dad how much she admired that — but also admitted she’d be “insecure” about a big age gap in a relationship. Sorry to all the young guys out there hoping to shoot your shot! Kim will not be getting her groove back any time soon!

Then, when Scott asked about more of Kim’s romantic requirements, the mom of four turned to sex. Interestingly, she revealed that her sex life now takes place only under the cover of (literal) darkness:

“I pretty much have the lights off now.”

WHA?! Yep! In a confessional cutaway, Kim followed up:

“It’s so weird but then I can walk out of a photo shoot with 100 people working on set. I can walk out in a thong, but if it’s like you’re there with me, I’m like, ‘Wait, don’t look at me! Turns the lights off!'”

Surprising, right?!

But, hey, to each their own. Whatever makes her comfortable, right?
