Throughout the latest season of The Kardashians, Kourtney Kardashian has been upset with Kim Kardashian over her decision to partner with Dolce & Gabbana shortly after the 44-year-old POOSH founder got married to Travis Barker. She accused the 42-year-old’s Milan Fashion Week collaboration with the brand of “copying” her wedding vibes. She said in a previous episode:

“It’s almost like a greediness. If I look at the photos from the fashion show, half of the time I’m like, ‘Is this my wedding?’ There’s no decency to ask me how I felt about her doing this so closely to my wedding. No one just gives a f**k about anything. It’s like the Wild West—like, ‘We’re just gonna take and do as we want. Whatever’s best for us.’”

However, Kimmy Kakes was not standing for the accusations. And if there’s one thing we know about the momma of four, she will pull out receipts! She said in a confessional that her big sister had taken certain ideas from her own 2014 wedding with Kanye West, including having Andrea perform:

“I got married in Italy. Am I saying you copied me by getting married in Italy? Who performed at my wedding? Andrea Bocelli. Who performed at Kourtney’s wedding? Andrea Bocelli. You stole my f**king wedding country and my wedding performer. Andrea Bocelli is my favorite male singer of all time, but I’m copying her dolce vita lifestyle? OK.”

It’s been a whole mess. But thankfully, they seem to call a truce for now. After finding himself in the middle of the girls’ feud, Andrea decided to react to the whole situation! But don’t expect him to choose sides – he’s not pulling a Bethenny Frankel! The 64-year-old singer took to Instagram Stories on Friday to say:

“Dear @kimkardashian and @kourtneykardash, I’m so flattered that you both love my voice and I’ll always be happy to sing to you. But know that there’s a younger and far more helpful artist @matteobocelli who your mother @krisjenner knows very well. See you soon in Tuscany!”

FYI, Matteo Bocelli also performed with his dad at Kourtney and Travis’ wedding last year. He also shared the same clip from the reality show, telling Kris Jenner to “hit me up” along with a laughing face emoji. If you think a 25% tip is a pretty solid amount for a DoorDash tip, get ready for this story, y’all. Because it apparently wasn’t enough for one now-fired driver! He was so pissed about the amount that he had words with the tipper!!

Over the July 4th holiday weekend, a woman named Lacey Purciful popped up on TikTok with a shocking doorbell camera video. In it, viewers can see a DoorDash driver walk up to her front porch with a pizza delivery. As he hands off the food to the Texas woman and her family, he appears to say on camera:

“I just want to say it’s a nice house for a $5 tip.”

Not knowing how to respond, Purciful tells him:

“You’re welcome.”

At which point he appears to shockingly add this as he’s walking away:

“F**k you.”

WHAT?!

In a text block superimposed over the vid, Lacey wrote more about the context of the $5 tip. According to her, it was for a $20 pizza order!! She asked:

“So how much should I be tipping for a $20 pie?”

And she added in the caption:

“My lovely Dasher Corey believes I should be tipping 50%.”

So, basically, she gave a 25% tip for the food… And that wasn’t good enough?! Watch the exchange for yourself (below):

What a video. Seriously, 25% is a GOOD tip! We totally get that those DoorDash jobs are hard and unforgiving. And a lot of the people Dashers run across are undoubtedly poor tippers. But getting this mad over 25%?? Come on!! If you got 25% across the board, you’d be making bank, right??

FWIW, Lacey shared a second post with another order to clarify her beliefs on tipping. In the follow-up vid, Purciful showed a second order she made over the long pre-holiday weekend in which a receipt showed she offered a $5.50 tip before receiving her food. Then, she added another $5 tip after she interacted with a (far more polite) second Dasher!

She wrote:

“This was the same day as the Pizza incident. I have worked in the Service Industry for over 10 years!! I do Tip very well. But I also tip on my interaction with the Dasher. This kind man was so sweet & friendly!! Thanks for being kind!!”

In case you were wondering, the original Dasher was apparently banished from driving for the company after the unfortunate first incident went viral.

DoorDash confirmed to NBC News that the Dasher identified as “Corey” by Purciful has been “removed from the platform due to the incident in question.” The food delivery company went on to add this to the news outlet:

“Respectfully asking for a tip is acceptable but abusing or harassing someone is never acceptable. Our rules exist to help ensure everyone who uses our platform — Dashers, customers, merchants — have a safe and enjoyable experience. We expect everyone to treat others with respect and we will enforce our rules fairly and consistently.”

DoorDash also told the news outlet that they had reached out to Purciful. She later explained in a comment on one of her videos that they sent her a $5 credit. How poetic!

As for the comments of her initial post that kicked off the whole controversy, TikTokers were divided between getting mad at the delivery driver for his actions, and getting mad at tipping culture in general:

As Perezcious readers may recall, back in April, the Hurricane rapper was sued over how things were reportedly running at Donda Academy. At that time, that first lawsuit alleged racial discrimination, bizarre management, and unsafe conditions inside the school. And now, there’s a second lawsuit winding its way through court alleging even more wild claims!!

On Thursday, a former gym teacher at the controversial academy filed a lawsuit with a Los Angeles-area court. In that filing, per Billboard, ex-gym instructor Isaiah Meadows claims he was unfairly fired after he “raised concerns about inconsistent pay and serious health and safety issues.”

Those concerns run the gamut of issues around the school. Per the outlet, they include issues with “overflowing septic tanks and dangerous electrical fires.” But beyond the allegedly dangerous conditions inside the school building — which are obviously bad enough in their own right — Meadows’ suit paints a picture of a very bizarre set-up supposedly orchestrated by Ye himself.

In one case, Meadows claims, Donda Academy students were left “exposed to the elements” inside the school building because the Chicago-born rapper “did not like glass.” As in, Donda supposedly had no glass inside its window frames by Ye’s directive — just totally open air!

WTF?!?!

Meadows’ suit states:

“In the middle of the main classroom, a skylight was left without glass inevitably allowing rain to fall directly inside, where water would soak into the floor, which would lead to a moldy smell for the next few days. The skylight was intentionally without glass because WEST expressed that he did not like glass.”

The Jesus Walks rapper supposedly didn’t like glass?! What’s there not to like about glass?? It’s see-through! It’s just… there! You don’t even really think about it!!

Meadows’ suit went deeper, too, as we referenced above. In another part of the filing, he claimed the school had “serious wiring issues” in its electrical set-up. One notable incident occurred when Meadows claimed an electrical fire “sparked near the student eating area where a wire was laid atop the ground, exposed.” OMG… And plumbing was apparently a problem, as well. Meadows’ suit asserts the school’s septic tank would “overflow every other day, causing a terrible smell.”

Gross!!

The ex-gym teacher’s attorney also released a statement after he filed the case on Thursday. Ron Zambrano, who represents the former instructor in the suit, said it is his intention to make Donda Academy face their “absolutely egregious” working conditions in order to “hold them accountable.”

Zambrano continued:

“The unlawful and retaliatory behavior by Mr. West and the school directors have now been documented multiple times by other former employees who never even worked together but all experienced the same horrendous treatment and witnessed the same serious health, safety and education code violations, while all were subjected to the same fate.”

Per Billboard, the lawsuit seeks damages due to alleged breach of contract, as well as the violation of several California labor laws including wage issues, improper classification, and wrongful termination. According to that outlet, neither West nor the school itself have commented on the matter.

Thursday’s brand-new episode of The Kardashians on Hulu brought the famous sisters to a resolution (well, kind of) on their previously-endless spat over Kourt’s Italian wedding last May and Kim’s supposed copy-cat fashion show in Milan a few months later.

As Perezcious readers will no doubt recall, we’ve been covering all the drama around these two reality TV vets and their super contentious spat. And now, it would seem that’s all water under the bridge. Er, uh, we hope?!

On Thursday’s new Hulu ep, the SKIMS mogul and the Lemme lead finally got to sit down face-to-face and have it out about their Dolce & Gabbana-based feud.

Kim kicked off the convo, first explaining to the Poosh founder that the initial plan was for SKIMS to collaborate with D&G for a fashion show. However, that quickly changed, as the 42-year-old explained to her older sister:

“Then I called you. I said, ‘SKIMS is not doing it,’ because we couldn’t get it together that quickly. I kept saying, ‘I don’t want to do this because it’s so close to Kourtney’s wedding — I want it to be completely different.'”

Without SKIMS in the collaboration, D&G’s designers told Kim they were going to go ahead with the Milan Fashion Week show — but only with archive-inspired looks from their own fashion house alone.

Of course, those archived looks ended up being remarkably similar to the vibe Kourt gave off in her May 2022 wedding to Travis Barker in Portofino, Italy. And that has been what’s eaten at Kourtney this entire time!!

The newly-pregnant mom explained her issue with it to Kim:

“You weren’t like, ‘hey, I’d love to know how you feel about this.’ You called me after the deal was done.”

In return, Kim pointed out that younger sister Kylie Jenner had also recently done a D&G show. And while it wasn’t as closely related to Kourt’s nuptials look as the event Kim came up with, Kylie’s was a topic of note for the whole fam, too.

But for whatever reason, Kim complained privately, Kourtney only came after her and not Kylie. Speaking to confessional cameras, the Selfish author said:

“It’s something with me, and I cannot figure out fully what it is.”

Hmmm…

Kim also got frustrated later in the convo when she pointed out how she was actually the first one to get married in Italy. And she was the first one to hire Andrea Bocelli to sing at her wedding!! In a more contentious confessional clip, Kim remarked on the similarities between her 2014 wedding to now-ex-husband Kanye West in Florence, and wondered whether it was actually Kourt who ripped off that vibe:

“I got married in Italy. Am I saying you copied me by getting married in Italy? Who performed at my wedding? Andrea Bocelli. Who performed at Kourtney’s wedding? Andrea Bocelli.”

Oof! And she wasn’t done there! Kim then added:

Damn!!

Kim also went on to add that she first did shoots with D&G’s archived ’90s looks back in 2017. And those looks were in line with the very same vibe Kourtney chose for her wedding last May. While the mom of four claimed that those vintage fashion styles fit the “mood board” of her wedding to the Blink-182 drummer, Kim replied that “they [D&G] hadn’t done them since [her 2017 shoot], until your wedding.”

And that’s not a bad point?! If the copycat accusations go one way, it’s only fair they go the other, too, right?!

Even while trying to settle their differences, Kim still managed to get a few digs in at Kourtney. At one point during their conversation, the SKKN By Kim exec claimed that there was so much D&G at Kravis‘ wedding that “everyone thought it was so sponsored.”

Kourtney didn’t care for that characterization, replying:

“I don’t care what anyone thinks. I didn’t make that choice for my wedding because of money.”

At the end of it all, though, Kim actually tried to acquiesce to some of Kourtney’s concerns. And Kim seemed to actually understand the fact that her older sister was most upset about how “no one called” her to let her know about Kim’s fashion week show running so soon (and so similarly) after the wedding.

Late in the convo, Kim finally conceded:

“I would be upset, I get it. I feel you.”

Progress!

In a confessional, Kourtney went on to explain why the issue has been so important to her:

“When I do have things that are mine, I get protective over what feels like it’s part of me. There’s also something about being able to be content and happy with what you have without feeling like you need more.”

Ultimately, the fashion fracas is only part of the issue here. By the end of their sit-down, both Kourt and Kim reminisced on how they used to be so close. Only in recent years has their bond been fractured a bit by life and emotional distance.

Kourtney was the first one who tried to mend the fences on that point, telling her younger sister:

“We’re in different places — that doesn’t mean we can’t do things together. I used to be mad or mean when I was hurt, but now I feel like I avoid.”

And Kim came back with an apology for the entire situation:

“I’m happy for the experience, but I’m sad and sorry that the experience ever hurt you.”

Of course, we’ve been tracking the saga of the Call Me By Your Name star’s divorce from now-ex-wife Elizabeth Chambers for a while now. Late last month, we reported on how things were finalizing up between them as they each planned to move on (legally) after the end of their marriage.

But on Wednesday, the world got new details about just what is going into their now-finalized divorce settlement. And it’s, uh, not a lot?!

According to TMZ, Armie and Elizabeth have confirmed that they will share joint custody of their two kids — daughter Harper, 8, and son Ford, 6. But interestingly, the film star’s monthly child support requirement is really (really, really) low. Per that news outlet, Hammer is on the hook for only $1,500 per month!!

WTF?!

If you’re wondering why the monetary request of a silver screen star would be so small, well, it’s because he doesn’t have any money!! The finalized divorce docs claim Armie “does not currently have any income,” per that news org. So, the custody settlement can’t be a big ask. And both parties agreed to waive spousal support per those same docs, so at least the Social Network star isn’t on the hook for that…

Perezcious readers may recall that this definitely isn’t the first time we’ve come across news of Hammer’s apparent financial problems.

Back in 2021, his now-ex-girlfriend Courtney Vucekovich spoke out about how she was footing the bill for their outings while the Lone Ranger star crashed in a tiny pool house for free:

“People on the internet when they found out we were dating were like ‘oh she’s a gold digger.’ I was just laughing in my head. He doesn’t have a dollar. He was living in a 500 square foot pool house rent free. He and I were in hotels, restaurants, my flights back and forth, all paid for by me. Everyone’s like ‘oh he loves road trips.’ No, he can’t afford a plane ticket. He couldn’t even fill his truck up with gas, that kind of broke.”

So, yeah, he appears to still be “that kind of broke” with this paltry child support ask and all here. Jeez!!

As for the rest of the divorce settlement, there are a couple other interesting points. For one, Armie wanted to make it so neither he nor Elizabeth could include Harper and Ford in their social media posts. She fought back on that, and they eventually came to a compromise that each parent would be allowed to post kid pics “in a careful, appropriate, and discreet manner.”

They also collectively agreed to hold off on introducing new love interests to their kids until months down the line, as things get more serious with newcomers. Per TMZ, the docs state that neither ex will be allowed to bring their children around a new partner “unless he or she has been in a significant and exclusive relationship with that person for at least 6 months.” That part seems pretty reasonable!

Lastly, there’s a strange amendment in the divorce docs, too: a candy conflict. The ex-couple literally has this statement (below) listed as part of their child-rearing requirements:

“It’s not in the minor children’s best interest to consistently have candy.”

And so, candy consumption will be legally limited by the terms of the divorce settlement! Hey, whatever works, we suppose. Right?! But anyways, a judge signed off on all that — candy amendment included — and now it’s official and final. Reactions, Perezcious readers??

The (former?) close friends and podcast partners are at odds right now after all the accusations and allegations that have come out against Ballinger recently. And among those issues are new claims that the longtime Miranda Sings star on Youtube allegedly shared Paytas’ OnlyFans content with underage fans while shaming Trisha throughout.

On Monday, Paytas took to her YouTube channel to discuss the shocking and increasingly uncomfortable Ballinger situation. The duo had just recently launched their joint podcast Oversharing with Colleen Ballinger & Trisha Paytas. But judging by the Monday afternoon vid from Paytas, uhhh, that would appear to be going nowhere at this point.

In a video simply titled “colleen,” Paytas said she was first “unaware” of the allegations against Ballinger, and only recently learned of them to the point of being “shocked” by both the claims themselves and Ballinger’s already-infamous 10-minute ukulele song apology late last week.

Referencing the video and new allegations that Ballinger shared and shamed Paytas’ adult-themed content with underage fans, Trisha said:

“Her video came out, and I was just shocked to say the least that she didn’t at least acknowledge the stuff that her own fans were saying, how they felt. It’s a topic I don’t take lightly, and I can’t take lightly, as I am a full-time sex worker… We already have a lot of stigma, misconceptions, allegations against us as sex workers and so I need to nip this in the bud.”

That likely references newly-revealed Twitter posts like that from a ex-fan of Ballinger’s named Johnny Silvestri, who accused Colleen of sharing Paytas’ nude photos and mocking her OnlyFans content with fans behind Trisha’s back. You can see that NSFW tweet with screenshot accusations HERE.

Another Twitter user and YouTuber named Adam McIntyre also accused Ballinger of sending Paytas’ nude content when he was underage, as well. That second tweet allegation from late on Sunday night can also be seen HERE.

In both cases and more, Paytas slammed the situation, calling the illicit recordings and shame-sessions “viewing parties” with fans and reflecting on how violated and discarded she felt over the matter.

“I do not condone, at all, unsolicited nudes — sending unsolicited nudes to anybody, sex worker or not. I think using someone’s nudes as a way to hurt them, make fun of them, make light of them, be mean, is the lowest form of human.”

And Trisha added:

“These weren’t a long time ago. This is someone well into their 30s who just gave birth, sending nudes. And a month prior, I was in her house, meeting her newborn and doing a Mukbang with her.”

Paytas also slammed Ballinger’s ukulele apology video, saying:

“I don’t stand behind Colleen whatsoever. Her video was not an apology, and it took away from the severity of her actions of talking to minors, bringing minors on stage at her show. These people are speaking up and they’re uncomfortable for a reason. Acknowledge it, change it, do better.”

Trisha went on:

“It’s a lot. And it wasn’t just one occasion. There was multiple times that she sent different photos and different positions of me.”

And then she concluded:

“I will never speak on Colleen again. She just does not exist to me anymore.”

Katie Sorensen, a California-based “momfluencer,” was sentenced to 90 days behind bars for lying about her children’s attempted kidnapping in 2020!

If you haven’t been following the story, back on December 7, 2020, Katie was at a Michaels craft store with her 1-year-old and 4-year-old children when she claimed a Latino couple attempted to snatch her little ones. She drove straight to the Petaluma Police Department to “report suspicious behavior exhibited by two adults (a man and woman) at a Michael’s craft store,” per the OG press release. The couple was later identified as Sadie and Eddie Martinez, who were in the store to buy Christmas decorations.

Several days after reporting the alleged kidnapping to the authorities, the content creator shared her story with around 57k followers on her Instagram account @motherhoodessentials_, which has now gone private. But her post included additional information she hadn’t told the cops, sparking an investigation into her claims.

She said in the video at the time:

“My children were the targets of an attempted kidnapping. I want to share that story with you in an effort as to what signs to look for and encourage parents to be more aware of their surroundings and what is going on around them.”

According to NBC News, the 30-year-old claimed the couple made comments about her kids before attempting to approach them in the store’s parking lot.

She also told KTVU that the man tried to reach into her stroller before she screamed for help. She noted:

“They didn’t look necessarily clean-cut.”

The IG video was viewed nearly 5 million times! It also led to her talking to a local news outlet, too.

But this so-called kidnapping, we’d later find out, wasn’t what it seemed. Police conducted a follow-up interview with Katie after her TV appearance (and during this time, she identified the couple), but her account contradicted the couple’s claims and security footage from the store proving there was no suspicious activity.

Clapping back at the allegations against her, Sadie told KTVU at the time:

“Do you really think it’s OK to go online and be racist and make stories about a family? It’s hard enough to be a Latin family in a white community.”

Oof. She also told The Argus-Courier, “It’s like we’re literally guilty of being Brown while shopping.” Ugh. So f**ked up.

This drama brings us to late last week, when Katie was finally sentenced after she was charged with two misdemeanor counts of making a false report of a crime in April 2021. One of those charges was dropped before her hearing earlier this year.

So, on Thursday, the Sonoma County District Attorney released a statement revealing she was sentenced to 90 days in prison for making a false report. Katie will be eligible for work release for 60 days of the sentence. She was also ordered to be placed on a 12-month “informal probation,” during which time she cannot have a “social media presence,” must “submit to warrantless search and seizure,” and will need to “complete a 4-hour implicit bias training,” among other requirements.

She began serving her time immediately after sentencing. The local District Attorney released a statement to the media after the sentencing was announced in the case:

“Ms. Sorensen has been held accountable for her crime and we believe the Judge handed down a fair sentence. Our hope is that this measure of accountability will help provide some closure to the couple that was falsely accused of having attempted to kidnap two young children.”

Agreed. They have been dragged through the mud over an elaborate lie.

Hopefully, this brings them a sense of justice with Sorensen now having to face the consequences of her actions.
