Earlier this week, the Migos rapper very publicly accused the WAP star of cheating on him. As Perezcious readers will recall, Cardi hilariously (and very, very forcefully) denied the accusations and claimed she absolutely hadn’t cheated on her man.

And now, we’re getting updates that everything is… fine??

On Thursday evening, an insider close to the couple spoke to People about what the pair has been going through. While Offset’s claims of infidelity are serious, and Cardi’s denial in response was REALLY strong, it sounds like none of that will linger between them long-term. Seriously?!?!

So says this source, at least, who claimed to the mag that things are (eventually) going to be fine in the couple’s hectic world:

“They’re just having a little quarrel. They’re very intense so [they] go back and forth quite a bit. They’ll hash it out like they always do.”

Wow!

Well, we know that “very intense” part is true, at least. Just ask the stepson of one of the men tragically lost in that Titanic-bound submersible about the Bodak Yellow rapper’s strong opinions. Or, you can recall Cardi’s own jaw-dropping reveal about her body hair.

Lots of very fiery posts of all sorts from her! She doesn’t hold back! So why would a cheating denial be any different?!

Anyways, per the outlet, reps for both Cardi and Offset declined to comment on this insider’s “little quarrel” claim. Laying low seems to be the name of the game. So maybe this tempest will blow over just as quickly as it first popped up??

The Migos rapper took to his Instagram Stories on Monday to publicly accuse his wife of cheating on him in the past in a since deleted post. The black and gray background featured some white text, where Offset wrote:

“My wife f**ked a N**** on me gang yall n***** know how I come.”

Yikes… some pretty rich accusations coming from the man who’s been accused of cheating on her time after time — including when she was pregnant! And she’s done nothing but forgive him and go out of her way to defend him every time. This is how he repays her? Ugh.

But Cardi is never one to stay silent if something upsets her — even her man! She lashed out at her hubby on Twitter Spaces just a few hours later and started by singing some of Keisha Cole‘s I Should Have Cheated:

“First of all, let me say, you can’t accuse me of all the things you know that you are guilty of. Sing it with me, y’all! And I see that it is easy for you to blame everything on me. Yes, honey!”

Referring to the 31-year-old rapper as “country man,” she even said if he was brave enough to allege those things to her face, she’d smack him over his head with a bottle. Damn! Ha!

The I Like It rapper then went on in her rant to suggest her (estranged?) husband is in the midst of a downward spiral:

“Listen, don’t pay attention to that country man. That motherf**ker spiraling and thinking s**t.”

This would make sense, considering how rough things have been for everyone since the tragic death of Takeoff. Just Sunday night at the BET Awards Offset reconciled with his estranged bandmate Quavo as they came together for a performance in honor of their late bandmate. It was a very big deal, and an extremely emotional moment for everyone — but since Cardi didn’t even show up, it’s got everyone wondering where the marriage stands.

It’s not looking very bright so far, because this isn’t the only event of the Open It Up rapper’s that she’s skipped out on lately. She also missed out on the fashion icon’s huge Paris Fashion Week, where he did a lot of business and partied with A-listers as he dipped into the world of design even more.

For Cardi to miss one important event, sure… but two in a row? And miss something as important as a tribute to Takeoff? And then get in a public feud on social media? It’s really not looking good for them…

Not only did she maintain in her social media rant she never cheated on Offset, she also argued she wouldn’t be able to! She’s way too famous:

“Come on, y’all. I’m f**king Cardi B n****. I think sometimes motherf**kers forget I’m Cardi B. If I was giving this p***y to anybody, it would be out. I’m not just anybody. Can’t f**k no regular degular shmegular ’cause they gonna tell the world. And I can’t f**k nobody in the industry ’cause they gonna tell too.”

Wrapping up her Spaces chat, she addressed her husband directly, blasting:

“Please boy, stop acting stupid. Stop acting stupid. Going crazy over a f**king Space. Don’t play with me. What the f**k. Stop playing. That’s all I’m gonna motherf**king say. Get the f**k out of here, n****. Like, you can’t be serious. Don’t play, motherf**ker. Got me looking f**king crazy and s**t for no reason. Anyways, I’m out. Y’all know what it is.”

Yeesh…

During Sunday evening’s awards show, the Migos members jumped on stage in an unannounced move. The performance came about an hour into the show after a large rocket appeared on big screens surrounding the stage. From there, Quavo and Offset walked into the spotlight together. Then, they began dancing and performing as Takeoff’s verse from the 2022 Unc & Phew spinoff single Hotel Lobby played to the crowd.

The two remaining Migos members, who have been mourning Takeoff’s death since he was murdered in Houston early last November, pointed to the screen and yelled “Do it for Take!” Then, Quavo and Offset performed Migos’ 2017 mega-hit Bad And Boujee together.

Obviously, the heartwarming performance touched a lot of viewers as it happened.

It also touched A-listers, too. Most notably, Cardi B — who is Offset’s wife, and was very close with Takeoff prior to his death late last year — reacted emotionally upon seeing the Migos duo reconnect on Sunday night.

Aside from Cardi’s touching take, the fact that Quavo and Offset are back together is notable. Sunday night marked the first time the two rappers have performed together since Takeoff’s death.

As we sadly know, there had been considerable tension between the two of them in the weeks following Takeoff’s murder in Houston. Things got so bad at one point that Cardi herself actually had to break up a fight between the two men as they mourned their lost loved one.

After Sunday night’s reunion of sorts, it would appear as though things between the two surviving Migos bandmates are better than they’ve been for a long time. We are very, very thankful for that.

And very glad that we got to see such an impactful way to honor Takeoff!

We’ve been covering the story of Brian Szasz, the San Diego-based man who is the stepson of billionaire adventurer Hamish Harding. On Wednesday, Szasz came into the public consciousness after he posted pictures on social media of himself attending a Blink-182 concert in San Diego while his stepdad was missing in the ocean in what has become the biggest news story in the world over the last week.

Later on Wednesday, after Szasz went viral, he deleted his much-maligned Twitter account. Then, very late on Wednesday night, he spoke about the entire situation in a new series of videos over on his Instagram account.

Those videos captured quite a bit of Szasz’s emotions regarding the last 24 hours. For one, he claimed to have “about $100 to my name” in the first clip, and said between that and “a legal situation,” he is unable to go anywhere to help Harding and must wait in San Diego for news:

“Thanks for the love and support. Here are the facts, OK? Believe it or not, I have about $100 to my name. I can’t go out to the ocean. I have a legal situation keeping me here as well. I can’t get on a flight. I don’t have a passport. I was sitting here yesterday watching the news for two days straight. I go to a Blink-182 show because I have a ticket.”

Criticizing people who called him out for attending the Blink-182 concert on Monday night, Szasz continued:

“It wasn’t like I was having super fun, like I was celebrating having a great time. I was just listening to some of my all-time favorite songs, nodding my head and just trying to get off the phone for maybe like two hours or so, and then come right back into the drama. The submarine is stuck at the damn Titanic, there is nothing I can do for the situation at all, so that’s the truth.”

Hmmm…

But then, the real jaw-dropping commentary began.

Of course, Cardi B has inserted herself into this story after calling out Szasz for going to the aforementioned concert in the first place. He clearly didn’t care for that criticism, because in one IG Stories video, he called the rapper a “complete b**ch,” said her career was in “such turmoil that she needs clout,” and slammed her and the media’s coverage of his story:

“So you take a complete b**ch like Cardi B, has no idea what’s going on. Her career is in such turmoil that she needs clout off other people’s suffering. And she’s like, ‘hey, you won’t go help, blah blah blah, he goes to a rock concert.’ That’s a situation they are exploiting. They’re not really giving a f**k that my mom has to take care of two kids. Not giving a f**k that my stepdad, there’s probably a 99% chance he’s dead. That doesn’t matter. They’re not trying to care how we feel, they are just trying to make gains. People trolling, getting hate mail, all these things. It’s f**ked up, and to have Cardi B behind it? Cardi B, f**king grow up, get some class. You’re tasteless.”

WTF?!

He’s seriously coming through with the “get some class” and “you’re tasteless” remarks?? Jeez… In a final follow-up video, Szasz went back to lamenting the situation as whole. Calling the lost submarine “a f**king nightmare,” he concluded:

“This whole situation is a f**king nightmare though. Everything about it. Especially what Hamish is going through down there, it’s just f**king God awful. I really appreciate the love and support. I haven’t slept in days, it’s not about me, obviously just too worried about my mom and the situation. So, I’m not rocking out or whatever they’re trying to accuse me of doing. But it just f**king makes the situation that much worse to have outside forces that are using their power for complete f**king evil. My God. Thanks again, have a good night.”

FWIW, Szasz has quite the history around San Diego County.

According to local TV news affiliate KFMB, he is the same Brian Szasz who was imprisoned at Vista Detention Facility beginning in June 2021 “on online stalking charges.” That charge came up because in July 2022, Szasz sued San Diego County for allegedly failing to provide him with medical treatments for his Type 1 diabetes while in jail.

He claimed in the lawsuit that the failure to receive insulin and the lack of other medical care caused retinopathy, which allegedly made it so that “his vision is permanently blurred and he will go blind.” It is unclear what came of that lawsuit, which was first filed about 11 months ago. It is also not clear what exactly those “online stalking charges” covered, or whether that is the “legal situation” Szasz mentioned in his Wednesday night video that is keeping him in California.

He appears to also be the same Brian Szasz who was arrested for armed robbery in March 2007 as a 20-year-old. Along with an accomplice, a getaway car Szasz had been riding in was struck by a train in Encinitas following two armed robberies in the area. Per the San Diego Union-Tribune, Szasz was taken into custody along with an 18-year-old and, later, a 16-year-old.

Whoa…

All this is wild. Obviously, we continue to pray that there can be some sort of good news to come from the Atlantic Ocean as the search for Harding and the other men continues.

Let’s back up a sec. If you haven’t been following this saga, an OceanGate Expeditions submarine went down into the depths of the North Atlantic Ocean on Sunday morning to visit the Titanic wreck with five people on board. Bu pretty quickly into their trek, they lost contact with their crew and have been missing ever since.

There’s currently a massive investigation underway in hopes of finding them — and officials only have a few hours left until the vessel runs out of oxygen. The last major revelation was that sonar devices had detected eerie “banging sounds” believed to be coming from those in the submarine. Now, it’s a race against the clock to track the white sub down, and it’s obviously a very scary and serious situation, which is why many have been left baffled by Brian’s behavior lately.

Brian is the stepson of passenger Hamish Harding, a British billionaire and private jet broker, who spent some $250k on this risky adventure.

As the news was breaking that Hamish and the others were lost at sea, his stepson took to social media to reveal he was coping in a rather unconventional way… by going to rock out at his favorite band’s concert in San Diego on Monday night. He even tweeted at the band to get their attention and sympathy and posted a selfie taken near the merch table. Wild stuff.

So wild it caught the attention of Mz. Cardi — who had some THOUGHTS on the audio engineer’s coping mechanisms! In a heated Instagram Story post, the Bodak Yellow rapper argued on Tuesday:

“One of the billionaires, their stepson is at a concert, at a Blink-182 concert. And people are like ‘what is he supposed to do, be sad at the house? Is he supposed to go look for him himself?’ Yes! You are supposed to be at the house sad, be crying for me. You are supposed to be right next to the phone waiting to hear any updates about me. Isn’t it sad that you are a whole f**king billionaire and nobody gives a f**k about you? Like, you’re missing, and motherf**kers are ready to shake d**ks at concerts. That’s crazy! I’d rather be broke and poor, and, like, knowing I’m loved.”

And there were a TON of people who felt the same way!! Also, it doesn’t help that amid this crisis, Brian’s only continued to keep up the unusual social media activity, such as hitting up an OnlyFans model. Not exactly the actions of someone distraught over their missing family member!

So, what does he have to say for himself?! Brian is back on Twitter on Wednesday afternoon with a strong message for Cardi and his haters. Sharing a TMZ article about the musician’s rant, he tweeted:

“@iamcardib⁩ What a pos trashy celeb. Cardi B trying to get clout off me and my families suffering. I went to a Blink 182 concert for coping rather than sitting at home and watching the news. Shame on you Cardi get some class!”

He followed up with:

“Cardi B We know all your latest releases are trash but is your career this desperate for attention now??”

Dare we say, he’s acting way more emotional about this than Hamish’s disappearance!! Oof!

We totally understand everyone copes with disasters like this in their own way — and we can’t imagine how scary this must be for his whole family and all of Hamish’s friends! Hamish Harding is a British billionaire and private jet broker who is among the five people missing in that submarine we’ve been tracking all week. But now, the spotlight is on his stepson Brian Szasz after the younger man boldly attended a Blink-182 concert during the search for his stepdad.

Early this week, Szasz took to Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook to post across all three platforms about how he was going to Blink-182’s Monday night show in San Diego despite the ongoing search. Over on Twitter, the audio engineer shared a link to an article about the missing submersible, tagged band members Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker, mistakenly mistagged the wrong Mark Hoppus, and wrote:

“My stepdad Hamish is on this submarine lost at sea. I’m devastated but coming to the San Diego show tonight so you guys can give me hope and cheer me up”

On Facebook, Szasz posted a picture of himself in front of a Blink-182 merchandise tent and wrote that while it “might be distasteful” for him to go to the concert, it’s his “favorite band,” and it has helped him “in difficult times.” That post, which multiple outlets report has since been deleted, can be seen (below):

Then after Monday night’s show, amid increasingly negative attention on social media, Szasz took to his IG Stories to slam critics who suggested he shouldn’t have gone to the concert:

“Yes I went to @blink-182 … What am I supposed to do sit at home and watch the news? Not sorry this band has helped me through hard times since 1998.”

Dude. Seriously?? First off, it’s probably not appropriate to party at a concert during this situation — especially if you were even a little bit close to your stepdad. Second, uh, stop posting! Stop tweeting!!

As you might have already expected, social media users and celebs alike have been SLAMMING Szasz ever since. Cardi B in particular went off on the dude in a livestream after the concert! The Bodak Yellow rapper — who has such a way with how she turns a phrase — called out the audio engineer for not laying low during the search and instead choosing to be “ready to shake d**ks at concerts.” She said:

And you guys, we know Kulture’s classmates must be jealous about the spread she brings to the lunch table every day! One picture of her lunch showed some mac and cheese, chicken nuggets, broccoli, cereal, mixed fruit, veggie straws, and Froot Loops-flavored milk.

Earlier this week, the Up artist went live on Stationhead‘s Bardigangradio, where she took questions from fans — and even teased her sophomore album’s potential release… That is, if she can ever muster up the same confidence hubby Offset says she once had!

While discussing her highly anticipated next record, the WAP rapper gave a little bit of context into why she’s nervous to put it out:

“You know what’s so funny? My husband, Offset, he just DM’d me this video of me being in Club Eleven … I guess when Invasion of Privacy came out, and Offset DM’d me like, ‘You remember her?’ And I said ‘[LOL] yes.’ He was like, ‘She was very confident, you couldn’t tell her s**t,’ because he just feels like I’m so not confident, like, when it comes to, like, my music, or my this, or my that.”

Invasion of Privacy famously debuted in 2018, with chart-topping hits like Bodak Yellow, I Like It, Be Careful, and more.

The mother of two continued:

“But you know what? I’m just, you know, I’ve just been a little bit afraid of like, people just judging and everything, but it’s like, I gotta put my big girl panties on. I just gotta make a decision, so, but I have to make it soon so I can do these f**king music videos.”

Is that a subtle confirmation that she has songs ready to go?? We sure hope so!

Since Invasion of Privacy’s release five years ago, the 30-year-old has put out several singles, but no full body of work — however, when she finally does, we know we’ll be first in line to listen!
