Kylie Jenner is clapping back against claims she shaded Selena Gomez!
On Tuesday, the Only Murders in the Building star took to her TikTok Story to reveal she “accidentally laminated [her] brows too much” while also sharing who her celeb girl crush is, which is why the video initially got a ton of attention. But now, sleuths think The Kardashians star was seemingly throwing some major shade Selly G’s way!

Over on her Instagram Story, Kylie then posted a selfie of herself – which definitely made a point to show off her eyebrows. She captioned the photo:
“this was an accident ?????”
Sounds kinda shady, right?!
At first, there wasn’t a ton of context to support the potential dig… until the KUWTK alum seemingly made it crystal clear by sharing a screenshot from a FaceTime with Selena’s number one rival, Hailey Bieber. In the pic, both models zoomed in on their eyebrows. So, naturally, fans jumped to conclusions! Take a look:

In a now-viral TikTok post, content creator Nuha wondered:
“I could be reaching, but it definitely feels like Kylie Jenner’s IG stories were towards Selena Gomez. Especially the screenshot of her facetime call with Hailey Bieber. This feels very HS.”
Also, she made sure to point out that the 25-year-old Kylie Cosmetics founder could be salty that the Wizards of Waverly Place alum is now tied with her for the most followed female on Instagram. Hmm. Ch-ch-check out the speculation (below):

Plenty of fans agreed with the TikToker’s theories, writing:
“The funny thing Selena Gomez was the most followed female on Instagram then Kylie surpassed her but now she is coming back”

“Literally just ran to follow Selena!!”
The backlash got so loud online, the reality star actually noticed the speculation starting to spread and she attempted to shut down the rumors. She commented on Wednesday:
“this is reaching. no shade towards selena ever and i didn’t see her eyebrow posts! u guys are making something out of nothing. this is silly.”
Hours later, Selena also replied — and she agreed there was no harm done. She chimed in:
“Agreed @kyliejenner It’s all unnecessary. I’m a fan of Kylie!”
