Pete Davidson Jokes About Rehab While Sipping On Beer At Sundance

Pete Davidson has come a long way.
While promoting his new film Big Time Adolescence at the Sundance Film Festival on Monday, the Saturday Night Live star recalled some of his favorite memories in Park City, Utah — like the time he was in a local treatment facility.

He joked to Variety:

“I love Park City, Utah, because the last time I was here, I was in rehab.”

Sitting next to his friend and costar Machine Gun Kelly, the 25-year-old said as he put a beer to his lips:

“It’s nice to be on the other side, and also it speaks wonders to your rehab facilities.”

The comedian went on to reveal he sought treatment at Cirque Lodge about four years ago, adding (sarcastically?) that it “worked out great.”
Petey then alluded to his more recent mental health struggles since his split from Ariana Grande, making it clear that Instagram played a huge part in his mini-breakdown in late December. He added:

“I can’t go on that for obvious reasons. Just don’t go online. It doesn’t make me very happy. Even if it’s not about me, it’s random s**t … I’m not a fan of it.”

Blame him, we cannot.
