She and her siblings must be so thrilled their parents are staying together! But what led them to make that decision? Well, we’re getting some answers! A source revealed to Page Six on Friday night that Kim and Kroy were in a good place agains, so she terminated her divorce filing:

“They’ve been working on things. They’ve been talking more lately and getting along, so she decided to call it off.”

Now, talk about a HUGE surprise with that statement! We’re talking about the two people who accused each other of everything from: gambling addictions, drug problems, mental abuse, kidnapping, and more over the past few months. So that doesn’t seem like they were “getting along,” at least to us!

Meanwhile, an insider shared with Us Weekly that the couple are “doing the best for their kids” and are “getting along at the moment.” However, the source mentioned that “Lord only knows what will happen” and “Tomorrow might be different.” Yeesh, they don’t seem sure that Kroy and Kim will work things out!

For those who haven’t heard, the pair announced on Instagram this week that they’ve decided to go their separate ways after six years of marriage. They wrote in a joint statement to fans:

“For some time, we have considered transforming our relationship, and it is after careful consideration that we have decided to end our marriage with love, respect and dignity for our children — preserving and honoring what we have experienced as a couple all these wonderful years. Our greatest desire now is to continue having a healthy family dynamic and a relationship centered on genuine friendship as we continue the joint upbringing of our children. As always, we thank you for all the love and support we received throughout our marriage. We are united in nurturing this new chapter of our lives.”

The reason for this sudden split? In a divorce petition filed by Ricky on Wednesday and obtained by People, he listed the old catch-all: “irreconcilable differences.” Hmm. He requested joint custody of their 4-year-old daughter Lucia and 3-year-old son Renn. The 51-year-old singer also agreed to pay spousal support to Jwan, in addition to his attorney fees. However, he has “yet to determine the full nature and extent of the separate property assets and obligations of each party” based on their prenup. It seems like Ricky is determined to make sure this divorce moves forward amicably – though we’ll have to see if that continues since not all of the details are hashed out yet.

Nevertheless, the divorce news came as a complete shock to fans. It seemed out of the blue, even to us! But apparently, those in Jwan and Ricky’s inner circle weren’t caught off guard by the split at all as they’ve known the former couple been “having relationship issues for two years now.” Oof. What were those problems within their marriage? Well, details weren’t given at the time.

However, a new report from Dailymail.com on Friday dropped a bombshell claim about Ricky and Jwan. An insider described as a close friend of the Livin’ La Vida Loca artist revealed that they were in an open marriage! They said:

“Like many couples, Ricky and Jwan had an open relationship for most of their marriage. This worked for them, until it didn’t.”

Wait, so was this the real reason for the divorce?! Not quite. The source made it clear to the outlet that no one fell for anyone else nor was the alleged arrangement remotely the cause of their marriage problems, explaining:

“Neither of them fell in love with someone else. Sex was something they engaged in together and separate with other partners. In the end, they decided that it was best for them, their well-being and for their kids if they end it amicably.”

Neither Ricky nor Jwan has addressed the report at this time. But the actor has been vocal about normalizing open relationships while discussing his role as Antonio D’Amico in The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story during a 2018 interview with Vulture.

Rudy’s story has continued to stun the world. He was miraculously found unconscious outside of a church in Houston after being missing for nearly a decade. His story gave many loved ones of missing people hope that they’d be found one day, as the now 25-year-old was returned to his mother — that is, until the truth of the story started to unfold.

After the missing boy’s mother, Janie Santana, spoke with local news outlets and told them his story of how she believed he had been beaten and tortured, all the details started to fall apart. Neighbors came forward to claim the mom was lying and said Rudy had been living at home with her all these years. Friends said they’d seen him often over those eight years, that he’d come over to hang out with them in their garage — only they knew him as Dolph. They couldn’t believe he’d ever been reported missing.

And then things took a turn for the downright horrifying, when local activist Quanell X alleged Janie had been manipulating Rudy and sexually abusing him all these years. He said Rudy had told him as much!

Police have not corroborated the sexual abuse claims, saying the victim never reported sexual abuse to them — but they did confirm that he WAS at home all this time. The disappearance was a lie. Apparently his mom was making up aliases and keeping his return a big secret, continuing to use missing persons’ resources to advocate for the safe return of her son. She also pocketed about $2k from a GoFundMe campaign — and has since been banned from using the platform ever again.

The twists and turns don’t stop there, though! While speaking to DailyMail.com on Friday, a man named Gilbert Quiroz claimed he’s Janie’s ex-husband, and he’s not the only one. He accused her of bigamy!

The 58-year-old veteran says he married Janie in October of 2012 but split from her just a year into their marriage because he found out she was married to “at least one” of five other people. He filed for divorce the following year detailing his concerns, saying their union was “null and void.” His then-wife fought back, though, accusing him of “extreme cruelty” and adultery — she demanded $25,000 in damages! Hmm…

They were married by proxy, according to legal docs obtained by the outlet, while Gilbert was stationed with the Arizona National Guard in Tucson. In his filings for divorce, it’s also worth noting that Janie is listed with SEVERAL aliases — which all ties back into the current allegations against her:

“Respondent is Janie Santana. Respondent has also previously used the names Janie Santana Rodriguez, Janie Santana Larios, Janie Santana Farias and possibly Janie Uresti. The purported marriage is void and of no effect … because Respondent was already legally married and a party to other purported marriages.”

The docs also said she married Patrick Rocha in July 1997 and John P. Gonzalez in August 1998. They went on to state in 2007 she was the “common law wife” of John T. Rodriguez, as well as a “common law wife” of Roberto Larios from 1999 to 2010. That’s not all, though — in 2009 she married Sucre Amaury Diaz. The filings against her say she was still married to Patrick when she married Gilbert — meaning she had never split from her first husband all that time! Not only that, only two months into being Gilbert’s wife, she went on and married Sucre! It’s unclear just how many of these marriages were still going at any one time.

What a pretzel of a love life! Seriously, what’s going on!

In 2015, just five months after she reported Rudy missing, the annulment from Gilbert was finally granted. There’s no word on if she’s still married to any of the other men or not, and she was rewarded no damages from her ex.

And this lawsuit from her ex-husband led straight into another one from her own sister…

Janie was sued by her 64-year-old sister Sylvia for the alleged mistreatment of their elderly mother Rosa who passed away in 2020. In a complaint filed just two months before Rosa’s passing, Sylvia said:

“Proposed Ward did not have a bed and slept on the couch which smelled of urine. At the time the Proposed Ward last went into the hospital, she had significant bed sores that had gone untreated.”

So awful…

Sylvia also mentioned the bigamy. She said in the filings that was one of the main reasons Janie didn’t properly care for Rosa — and even said she owed Roberto $43,000 for “fraudulent conduct” within their marriage. She also noted her sister, who was then using the alias Janie Uresti, was convicted for disorderly conduct over the illegal discharge of a firearm in 1994, which landed her 9 months probation and a $100 fine.

Another sister of Janie’s, Pauline, said Rosa knew Rudy was still at home and was never missing:

“My mom would always tell me, ‘Rudy is here … He’s there. He’s in that room. And Janie said, ‘No she’s lying, she’s losing it.’”

The 66-year-old went on to call her younger sister a “pathological liar”:

“She has always been a pathological liar. She lies about everything.”

Whoa.

This is a lot to take in! If this is true and she’s really been causing all these twists and turns with her lies, it just makes us wonder what REALLY happened to Rudy these past eight years.

And we don’t mean this like one of those “sources say” reports, either. This is straight from the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star herself. That’s right! The embattled 49-year-old reality TV star is speaking out from behind bars!!

Of course, the Bravo-lebrity is serving a 78-month prison sentence at Federal Prison Camp Bryan in Bryan, Texas, following her conviction in that infamous telemarketing fraud case. But that doesn’t mean she can’t do promo! On Thursday, she corresponded with The Messenger via email to discuss what life has been like for her in the big house.

For one, the Salt Lake City resident sounded extremely remorseful about the actions that led to her prison sentence. When asked about how she’s holding up, Shah wrote:

“Daily introspection and self-examination are helping me learn many valuable lessons about how I ended up here. I took shortcuts and broke the law. I own and understand my actions created victims. I hurt people and I must reiterate that I blame no one but myself.”

Wow! That’s actually very mature and reasonable. The remorse is really good to hear! It means she’s growing!

And she continued:

“I am committed to doing the work necessary to make my victims whole and prove worthy of a second chance. I’ve learned to focus on what I can and cannot control. I can control my attitude and how I approach each day with a desire to improve.”

She’s not kidding about that “doing the work” stuff, either.

When asked what she’s been doing behind bars to prove herself “worthy of a second chance,” Shah explained she is offering GED and ESL (English as a second language) tutoring to other inmates, along with other activities:

“I have found multiple ways to mentor other prisoners, [including] tutoring GED and ESL students, mentoring women on their release plans, teaching multiple workout classes (abs, Pilates and HIIT training) and tutoring on reading, writing and vocabulary.”

She also says she has been trying to help less-fortunate inmates “put together their resumes … using Prison Professor workbooks” so they may have stronger employment options upon release.

She’s also offering job-related culture and fashion trainings to inmates via a Dress for Success program on the inside. That, she hopes, will “help justice-impacted individuals prepare for the job interview process upon re-entry.” That’s not too bad at all!

Regarding her push to help others while serving her time, the Bravo vet added:

“I find meaning by helping other women here at Bryan by finding ways to make a positive impact in their lives to help them find purpose which gives me purpose and a drive to do better.”

Shah has effectively been forced into these connections in the first place, as she explained she is living in a pod with a group of other women — and not a single or double prison cell away from others.

Still, now that she has found people with “similar values,” the reality TV alum claims she’s doing her best to “find consistency” in her actions:

“The details within my relationships take on more meaning. I don’t take these relationships for granted and truly value and appreciate the meaning my family and loved ones add to my life. The true meaning is consistency — to find consistency in my prayers, and actions. Emotions run up and down in my environment, so I must strive for consistency in my actions and emotions.”

Shah’s prison consultant Justin Paperny was also interviewed by the outlet for their Thursday report.

He confirmed the disgraced reality personality has “embraced her reality” behind bars, and added:

“She is pursuing educational opportunities to advance her release. By actively participating and successfully completing educational programs, she may increase her chances of earlier release or other benefits.”

That’s the end goal, of course. Makes sense!

Ultimately, Jen is hopeful that she can continue to prove herself to people who doubt her comeback commitment. She concluded:

“I am grateful for the opportunity to earn a second chance. I know some people doubt my sincerity and commitment. I can only control what I do daily and how I prepare for my life after federal prison. … I have learned about the value of time. I must be efficient and grateful and never complain. God has given me a moment to reset my life and I am grateful for that.”

So there you have it.

Two more minor footnotes, as well: first, The Messenger reports that Jen’s husband Sharrieff Shah “has visited his wife behind bars,” so that’s nice.

And second, and more interestingly, neither Jen nor her prison consultant Paperny would comment about whether the RHOSLC alum has met disgraced Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes. As you may recall, Holmes surrendered herself to federal authorities at FPC Bryan back in May. She is now one of the 627 inmates currently serving at that institution alongside Shah, per the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

Last month we reported that Ryan Seacrest is officially set to take over hosting duties on the fan-favorite television show after Sajak rounds out his decades-spanning role with his 41st and final season. At the time, Ryan announced that Vanna would be staying on as co-host, but soon after, The Pluck reported that the 66-year-old hadn’t received a raise in 18 years, and made only a fifth of Sajak’s reported $15 MILLION salary!

To fight for a more equal pay, Vanna hired an “aggressive new lawyer” to help negotiate a new deal, but insiders say Sony isn’t willing to give what she wants right now — just half of Sajak’s salary. Yikes.

Things have been contentious, to say the least, and a new report suggests issues may actually extend beyond pay.

On Friday, a source close to Vanna told DailyMail.com that the host is “disappointed” in Seacrest’s quick appointment as host, and that recent negotiations have made her feel “replaceable,” despite being a mainstay on the show for 41 years, since she was just 25:

“She was disappointed that they didn’t give her more of a chance to take over Pat’s job, or that she wasn’t able to give her two cents on the replacement. She didn’t assume they would be making the announcement of his replacement so soon.”

However, the insider did clarify that Vanna has “nothing but respect for Ryan and will be happy to work with him, but it just shows a lack of respect in her eyes that they have for her.”

Eesh. Poor Vanna… After 41 years with the show as co-host, you’d think they’d at least have a conversation with her about potentially taking over the main gig, or to at least get her thoughts on who should… The source added she DOES want to continue on with the show, but on terms that are negotiated more in her favor:

“She wants to be with the show for as long as she wants to be on the show, on her terms. She believes she deserves it. It is a major uphill battle, especially when money is involved and she sees the writing on the wall that they think she is replaceable. There will be lots of negotiations, but if she gets replaced and is not given a new contract, she will be beyond heartbroken. This has been her life, it would be just as powerful as a death if she doesn’t continue with the show.”

Ugh, THAT part breaks our hearts. This has been such a major part of Vanna’s life for 40+ years, since she was just in her 20s! Come on, where’s the respect??

The insider added that tides on the show first began to shift after longtime producer Harry Friedman retired back in 2019 at age 76 — a move that seemed to strip some of the power away from Pat and Vanna:

“Things got a little bit different with the show for Pat and Vanna during COVID, as the atmosphere changed on set once [Harry] left the show and retired. It just wasn’t the same vibe… Nobody dislikes anyone, it is just different, and the leverage that Pat and Vanna once had is not there anymore. Pat saw the writing on the wall and thought if there was ever a time to leave, now would be that time.”

Seems like Pat may have made the right decision leaving… For Vanna’s part, the source explained:

“She usually… keeps to herself, comes to work, does her thing, and leaves. She is friendly with everyone, but with the new regime, she doesn’t have the clout she once had, is no longer bulletproof, and is unfortunately made to feel replaceable. She doesn’t want to retire and leave the show, so she really hopes she doesn’t get pushed out. That is the last thing on her list to happen, she wants to stay, but she also wants it to be fair and is going to fight for what she believes in and what she deserves.”

What a sucky situation for the dedicated host. We certainly hope production execs realize her worth before it’s too late.

The investigation into the allegations that NBA star Victor Wembanyama‘s security guard Damian Smith slapped Britney Spears in Las Vegas on Wednesday night has come to a quick and unsatisfying end.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, a probe into Brit’s allegations concluded on Friday morning, and “no charges will be filed.” Additional details about the case were not revealed.

We have to imagine this will be a bummer for the Toxic artist. As we reported, she filed a police report alleging the San Antonio Spurs‘ Director of Team Security “backhanded” her outside of the restaurant Catch in the Aria Hotel. She claimed she was attacked after tapping on the player’s shoulder and the blow sent her glasses flying and nearly knocked her to the ground.

In a statement on her Instagram, she demanded an apology for the violence. It does not appear as if she has gotten one publicly from either the guard or athlete, but Victor did address the incident on Thursday afternoon, saying someone grabbed him from behind and, to his knowledge, his team pushed them to the ground. The 19-year-old didn’t even know it was the Circus star until later.

According to an eyewitness for TMZ, once back in the restaurant, Britney said in a “very animated voice” that the guard “punched” her. Her security guard then asked Victor’s team member to come to her table and apologize, which he reportedly did, revealing he didn’t know it was her at the time. Britney was reportedly angry and in shock. She then beelined it for the bathroom. You can see photos of her inside the restaurant HERE. Thoughts?

According to Us Weekly on Thursday, a source shared that the former couple is “determined” to put their six children — Kaia, Kane, KJ, Kash, Brielle, and Ariana – first despite what’s going on with their bitter divorce! They explained:

Ever since they filed for divorce in May, the pair have been extremely nasty while exchanging back-and-forth accusations about each other. Kim and Kroy owe the IRS over $1 million and $15k to their home state of Georgia in unpaid taxes. And that’s only the start of their problems. Later, the two were also each sued by two different companies over unpaid bills.

Yeesh. Things aren’t looking good for Kim and Kroy! It’s definitely been a messy situation. However, they only have themselves to blame for it! Nevertheless, their split has been sad to watch play out, especially when you think about how their kids must be affected by this drama.

Despite how nasty they’ve been toward each other lately, the parents seem to be putting in the extra effort to play nice in front of their kids. They were spotted for the first time together, walking side by side with their children into church on Sunday. The Zolciak-Biermann crew also went to a local bakery later on. At least they are trying! And it’s a step in the right direction toward hopefully a solid co-parenting situation between Kim and Kroy in the future. At that time, that first lawsuit alleged racial discrimination, bizarre management, and unsafe conditions inside the school. And now, there’s a second lawsuit winding its way through court alleging even more wild claims!!

On Thursday, a former gym teacher at the controversial academy filed a lawsuit with a Los Angeles-area court. In that filing, per Billboard, ex-gym instructor Isaiah Meadows claims he was unfairly fired after he “raised concerns about inconsistent pay and serious health and safety issues.”

Those concerns run the gamut of issues around the school. Per the outlet, they include issues with “overflowing septic tanks and dangerous electrical fires.” But beyond the allegedly dangerous conditions inside the school building — which are obviously bad enough in their own right — Meadows’ suit paints a picture of a very bizarre set-up supposedly orchestrated by Ye himself.

In one case, Meadows claims, Donda Academy students were left “exposed to the elements” inside the school building because the Chicago-born rapper “did not like glass.” As in, Donda supposedly had no glass inside its window frames by Ye’s directive — just totally open air!

WTF?!?!

Meadows’ suit states:

“In the middle of the main classroom, a skylight was left without glass inevitably allowing rain to fall directly inside, where water would soak into the floor, which would lead to a moldy smell for the next few days. The skylight was intentionally without glass because WEST expressed that he did not like glass.”

The Jesus Walks rapper supposedly didn’t like glass?! What’s there not to like about glass?? It’s see-through! It’s just… there! You don’t even really think about it!!

Meadows’ suit went deeper, too, as we referenced above. In another part of the filing, he claimed the school had “serious wiring issues” in its electrical set-up. One notable incident occurred when Meadows claimed an electrical fire “sparked near the student eating area where a wire was laid atop the ground, exposed.” OMG… And plumbing was apparently a problem, as well. Meadows’ suit asserts the school’s septic tank would “overflow every other day, causing a terrible smell.”

Gross!!

The ex-gym teacher’s attorney also released a statement after he filed the case on Thursday. Ron Zambrano, who represents the former instructor in the suit, said it is his intention to make Donda Academy face their “absolutely egregious” working conditions in order to “hold them accountable.”

Zambrano continued:

“The unlawful and retaliatory behavior by Mr. West and the school directors have now been documented multiple times by other former employees who never even worked together but all experienced the same horrendous treatment and witnessed the same serious health, safety and education code violations, while all were subjected to the same fate.”

Per Billboard, the lawsuit seeks damages due to alleged breach of contract, as well as the violation of several California labor laws including wage issues, improper classification, and wrongful termination. According to that outlet, neither West nor the school itself have commented on the matter.
