As you no doubt know, there has been a trend recently of performers getting pelted with objects while on stage over the past few weeks. Last month, Bebe Rexha was hit in the eye with a cell phone and got a massive shiner during her show in New York City. The person who threw the device was arrested and admitted he thought it “would be funny.” There’s absolutely nothing funny about throwing an item at someone and injuring them. Then, someone stormed the stage and slapped Ava Max during a show. Kelsea Ballerini was also hit in the eye with a bracelet. Awful. Sadly, so many others have joined the list of celebs getting objects hurled at them during a concert! And now, Harry Styles is the latest victim of this terrible trend.

During his concert in Vienna on Saturday night, the 29-year-old singer was walking across the stage in between songs when suddenly an unknown object hit him directly in his left eye. Ouch! Videos captured by fans of the incident showed Harry visibly in pain, as he winced, covered his face with his hands, and doubled over. However, the As It Was artist seemed to push through it and continued to walk off-stage. You can see the moment (below):

Ugh. Stop throwing things on stage! It’s super dangerous, and no artist deserves to be treated this way. And we’re not the only ones sick of this trend!

Following the incident with Harry, people have taken to social media to say enough is enough already with throwing objects at celebrities on stage. Of course, in recent weeks, it seems like a TON of artists have been dealing with particularly bad behavior at their live shows. And not just, like, people acting a fool down in the crowd or whatever. We’re talking about people throwing things on stage at the performers! Things that could seriously hurt them!!

Bebe Rexha immediately comes to mind, of course. She was performing in New York City last month when she was struck in the face by a smartphone that had been thrown by a man who was standing in the crowd. She got a nasty black eye and even had to be rushed to the hospital to get stitches because she was bleeding so badly! Not cool at ALL!

Sadly, Bebe isn’t the only performer who has dealt with that this summer, either. Kelsea Ballerini was hit in the eye with a bracelet during a show. And Lil Nas X was the target of a flying sex toy during a live performance, too. Plus more! Seriously, WTF is going on this summer?!

Well, leave it to Adele to put a stop to ALL of that! And then some!

During a weekend performance for her ongoing Las Vegas-based residency at Caesars Palace, the 35-year-old singer started walking around on stage at one point with a t-shirt gun. While making the rounds and interacting with the audience, the Rolling In The Deep crooner decided to talk about the unfortunate trend of performers being hit with flying objects.

She started by saying (below):

“Have you noticed how people are, like, forgetting f**king show etiquette at the moment? People just throwing s**t on stage. Have you seen them?”

Then, she went on to add that she would not be entertaining any of that at her shows.

The English-born singer challenged any miscreants who wanted to toss stuff up to f**k around and find out:

“I f**king dare you. Dare you to throw something at me and I’ll f**king kill you.”

Damn!!!

Adele, don’t hurt us! LOLz!

Then, while looking at the t-shirt cannon she was holding on stage during her fiery speech, Adele laughed and moved to make a joke about the ironic juxtaposition:

“Stop throwing things at the artist, but you can shoot things into people. It’s a total reverse.”

Ha!! After which she then concluded:

“I’ve been seeing these people. These people have lost it. Can you imagine?”

No kidding!

On Saturday, the 24-year-old singer performed at Lollapalooza in Stockholm, Sweden, and had been in the middle of his song Down Souf Hoes when suddenly someone from the crowd tried to throw an item at him on stage. What was it? Well, it turns out the object was a sex toy. Specifically, one that mimicked a vagina. When Lil Nas X saw the toy, he picked it up before jokingly asking:

“Who threw they p***y onstage?”

Yikes! ANOTHER musician has been injured while performing on stage!

In the latest string of artists getting attacked by fans in the audience, Kelsea Ballerini was forced to stop her show in Boise, Idaho, on Wednesday night when she was struck in the face with a flying object.

In a video of the moment, the country artist can be seen singing her hit If You Go Down (I’m Goin’ Down Too) and playing guitar when she appears to be hit near the eye. Many believe it may have been some kind of bracelet that struck her. Kelsea quickly turned her back to the audience and her band members came to her assistance, but the injury was bad enough she had to walk off stage for a few minutes!

A fan account on Twitter pleaded with others to stop throwing things at performers, writing about the incident:

“Guys. I know we all mean well. We all want to show Kelsea love the best way we know how, and shower her with all the gifts. But throwing things on stage where artists are already so vulnerable is NOT the move. If you can’t hand it to her, there are so many other options. Lord, give it to us! We will make sure it gets to her. But PLEASE don’t put her in danger like this. Again, I know you all mean well, but this is becoming a safety issue. We love you guys. We do. But please make it stop.”

They added later in the night:

“What we know at this point is that she is back on stage and okay. But please know that if you do this, you’re the reason why we can’t have caps on our water bottles.”

Kelsea is just the latest artist to be hurt while performing. Earlier this month, Bebe Rexha was performing in NYC when she was struck in the face by a cell phone! She had to be rushed to the hospital and the alleged attacker, who thought it “would be funny” to throw the phone, was arrested and charged with assault.

Then just days later fellow pop star Ava Max was slapped by a rogue fan who rushed her stage! WTF!

Pink has also been receiving unexpected gifts on stage, including a bag of a fan’s late mother’s ashes which was tossed to her. Fortunately, there were no injuries in this case, but it just goes to show that concertgoers are really starting to encroach on musicians’ already vulnerable spaces. Kelsea Ballerini made a major statement while performing at the CMT Music Awards on Sunday night! During the country music award show held in Austin, Texas the singer and co-host started the show with a performance of her new single If You Go Down (I’m Goin’ Down, Too) — and she brought four drag queens on stage with her!

As Perezcious readers may know, Kelsea’s home state of Tennessee has been leading the charge in trying to get anti-drag show bills passed. Travis Kelce hosted the sketch comedy series for the first time over the weekend – and he surprisingly killed it! When the Kansas City Chiefs tight end first took to the Studio 8H stage, he started strong with a hilarious monologue about getting kicked off his college football team after testing “positive for marijuana,” appearing on his dating series Catching Kelce, and beating his older brother, Jason Kelce, at this year’s Super Bowl. Mind you, he made those jokes while the Philadelphia Eagles player was in the front row – but his reactions were priceless! Ch-ch-check it out (below):

Later in the show, Jason also made an appearance in a skit. The piece started with a woman named Abby, played by Heidi Gardner, seeing someone she went on one date with before in a bar. Possibly the best sketch of the night had to be a pre-taped bit with Travis and the “Please Don’t Destroy” guys! In the skit, Ben Marshall, John Higgins, and Martin Herlihy attempt to build up their confidence in order to stand up to the SNL interns by going to a self-defense instructor. Elsewhere in the night, Kelsea Ballerini served as the musical guest. The country music singer delivered an emotional performance of two songs from her new album, which was inspired by her divorce from Morgan Evans. But for the show, it looks like Kelsea gave her track Blindsided an update to include some shade at her ex-husband! Towards the end of the song, fans noticed the inclusion of some new lyrics that said:

“Now you’re singing out loud on the radio. But you’re the only heart that breaks. You would’ve searched the whole world over. Yeah, sure. OK.”

The “you would’ve searched the whole world over” part is a direct reference to Morgan’s song about their breakup called Over For You, in which he also sings:

According to the country songstress on the Call Her Daddy podcast, the couple wanted to remain friendly throughout their split, but that didn’t happen. Soon after the pair began going back and forth with social media posts, call-outs, and songs about each other. It’s been wild, guys!

Morgan took to Instagram right after the podcast trailer dropped to express his heartbreak over Kelsea’s words, writing:

She knows I’m not the type of guy to speak on those things publicly. If this is what she needs to heal, I hope it helps.”

But that isn’t all! According to Page Six last week, Kelsea was accused of cheating on Morgan during their marriage with The Chainsmokers member Drew Taggart! Apparently her alleged cheating and some other issues slowly wore the relationship down, ending in a split.

What were those “other issues”? An insider for US Weekly said on Wednesday they disagreed heavily on wanting children! The source explained their “intense” romance went through periods of “friction, tension, and toxicity” while Kelsea attempted to “keep her feelings bottled up for so long”:

“Kelsea was very young and naive when she met Morgan, they clicked right away, but their relationship was always an emotional roller-coaster … She kept it a secret from most in her life. Morgan and Kelsea’s main issue was their disagreement about having kids.”

The insider noted the Miss Me More songstress’ family and friends saw “issues” within her relationship, and it was Morgan who was the one that pushed to have children:

“Morgan [had] been ready for a long time. They had been having issues, relating to each other and trouble being kind to each other, but the disagreement over kids was the nail in the coffin.”

At the end of their statement, the source said there’s more to this breakup than meets the eye:

“Kelsea’s songwriting has been her therapy, but she’s also trying to be respectful. Kelsea and Morgan have two very different versions of the story and that’s what’s showing now.”

It seems like Kelsea is doing just fine, though! A source dished to People on Wednesday the Subject to Change singer is “right where she wants to be”:

“She is dating, but doesn’t feel any pressure to be serious [with someone].”

The insider said the divorce was “awful for her” and she was “very upset about it” — but now the country crooner is in a “much better place.” In response to her ex’s desire to have kids, the source explained:

“She feels too young to have a family. There are things that she wants to accomplish first. She loves working and is not ready to take a break. She knows she’ll meet ‘the one’ when the time is right.”

There’s nothing wrong with waiting until you’re ready! Children are a big commitment and lifestyle change!

But her song Blindsided included a lyric about sleeping on the couch in 2019 before a “big show,” and she “sang about how it’s OK to cry.” These clues seem to point to the fact that she was referencing the CMA Awards in 2019, as she performed Homecoming Queen that evening, which features the line “even the homecoming queen cries.” Here’s where things get more interesting. The CMA Awards in 2019 happened in August – just weeks after Lollapalooza and the alleged affair happened.

Of course, Kelsea did not open up on the Call Her Daddy podcast about what specifically led to their fight – but could their argument have been about whatever allegedly happened with Drew? Following her messy divorce from Morgan Evans, Kelsea shared that she was ready to get back into the dating world and has been “just vibing” with the 30-year-old actor:

“I was ready to open back up. I just felt, why not? I’ve never really dated; I don’t know how it works. I’m like, ‘Let’s just put ourselves out there; let’s just vibe.’ And it’s been fun.”

As for how they met? Since the musician was “not going to get on an app” to meet someone, she recalled sliding into Chase’s DMs after they began following each other on the ‘gram:

“I’ve never seen his show, but I just knew of him, and I just swan dove right on in.”

Kelsea kept it simple when introducing herself to the Netflix star, saying:

“His handle is ‘@hichasestokes,’ and I said, ‘Hi, Chase Stokes.’”

Cute! When host Alexandra Cooper asked if Kelsea was concerned about Morgan’s reactions to the pictures of her and Chase, she insisted his feelings are not her problem anymore:

“No, because I’m not married to him anymore and I don’t need to care about his feelings anymore. And I mean that with all the respect in the world, but his journey is not mine anymore. I hope he is protected from whatever he needs to be protected from seeing — I hope he has people in his life that help him do that — [but] that is not my job.”

And after going through a tumultuous breakup, Kelsea went on to explain that she went into her new relationship with a whole new perspective:

“I think I’m finally an adult. I think that just happened over the last couple of years, and I feel like what that means to me is I have opinions. I have a career that is a priority for me, to show up for myself and the people that I’ve aligned with along this journey. And I have aspirations and goals that are tied to no one, and those are all really important things. I have my s**t together, you know what I mean?”
